    I love Stargate. Everything from SG1 to Universe and all the movies too. I have never missed an episode,even watched the entire thing a couple times.

    im the same way...that and i cant stand most of the garbage thats on TV...b:surrender

    and i just bearly actually started to watch this show like 3 months ago after the first season ended b:chuckle so im late to the party....but its a good show

    I don't watch much anymore, besides a movie or sports. But shows i used to like were, ER (first few seasons) and friends. Can't come up with more atm.

    See what you think. I had to look around a while before I found a somewhat decent pic, and the resizing made it a little blurry. It was a lot of edges, too, so I had to figure out a way to work around the edges on the picture. Hope you like it!

    P.S. ~ I can take off the "Heavens Tear" and reupload it, if you'd like as well.

    Not bad for your first attempt Kritty. I'm not a wizkid at the photoshop kind of stuff so i wouldnt know how to fix that blurring issue there

    I don't mind the Heaven's Tear :P

    As far as critique goes (and I don't really know if this is unique to this sig or not but since this is what I'm working with, my advice will go for what I see on this one only), I like to accent my text to make it stand out better from the background. Incidentally the color you picked stands out well on its own, but it still gives the sig more depth to have some shadows/lighting on the text.

    Secondly...I'm not sure where you found the pic and your options were probably limited, but usually you don't want the foreground to be more blurry than the background, because then the foreground gets overlooked. I actually like the blue background pic you have there but the girls might as well not be there for all the attention they draw. You can always try to fix it it with your sharpness and contrast tools, but that doesn't always work depending on how much you had to resize the picture. I also like to feather the edges of any renders I use in the foreground.

    Here are some of my older sigs as examples. Unfortunately I forgot the password to the photoshop account I used when I was at my best making sigs so a lot of these have many mistakes, but it'll still get my point across (I hope).

    So in this one, I highlighted the text but the red was too bright. I didn't notice until I already uploaded and I was too lazy to change it. I also made an animated one

    But again, I was noobsauce and the rain doesn't really look like rain (it's too fast and the angle is too strong; it looks like a windstorm going on there LOL). But the lighting is a bit dark...

    In this example I picked a bad render. Additionally I forgot to feather the edges, so it looks pretty blocky and pixelated....yea, it's pretty bad. What I like is how the text turned out.

    I messed up on the shadows and gave her a black eye. Oops :D

    Anyways, yea. I think it's fine to use background type images entirely but if you want to use a render in the foreground it should make its presence more noticeable. Lastly I would suggest you add a border. Some sig artists like borders and some don't. For me it's situational, but I USUALLY tend to like putting a border as a finishing touch.

    I would have made the image stand out more if it had been more of a full image, instead of the way it was. It cut off the top and back of the readhead's hair, and the torso of the brown-haired girl... not really much option for me but to tuck it into a corner to avoid the cut-off aspect.

    If I had a better, more full picture, I would have centered it more.b:chuckle
