I didn't say I wouldn't be able to overcome a boss with Bramble, I said prolonging a boss fight is ****. Lowering boss HP and difficulty could be an idea, if someone in this thread actually realized the necessity of it. In no where did I read a proposition to make the current bosses less impossible without an APS squad in this thread. All I saw were ways to nerf APS tanks, without any consideration to how you would actually succeed in 3-x TT without APS DDs to take the bosses down quickly.
So yes, have a Steelation that kites, self Brambles, in addition to 5.0, AOE stun, hp debuff, sleep, physical AOE, and random aggro DoT. That would solve everything. No? It wouldn't? That's what these people need to realize that they are clamoring about.
I think if they reverted the TT bosses to the old standards, and added a code to go something like this: boss takes 100k over 2 seconds -> boss moves 6 meters away
if bosses takes more than 100k over 2 seconds twice in 10 seconds -> boss moves 6 meters away and adds physical marrow buff doubling pdef but reducing mdef to 75% for 10 seconds. Subsequent damages over 100k in a 2 second period before 10 seconds have passed renews buff and makes boss move.
This would make the bosses take slightly longer for farmers to farm (compared to before the nerf),and caster classes would (effectively) receive a damage boost if their physical friends are hitting too hard.I hope that I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of title, the character of an honest man. -George Washington0 -
For Wylo and Traz: I (having a slew of alts) do understand where you're coming from as far as creation, but please keep in mind while that's fine for some of us, not everyone finds interest in playing any class but the one they chose to begin with.
They play to have a good time with the character they made and devote time to, creating a secondary to them is like turning the game into a job where you have to do something you do not enjoy in order to benefit later down the road. Some of us are fine with this, but many are tired and do have full time jobs and other responsibilities to attend to, when they get on they want to have fun, and when bored, they log off simple as that. Keeping additional balance in the game play allows for the casual player to still enjoy playing and not feel like they made a mistake in utilizing what they were handed.
@ DaKillinator: lol wut, yea some more fail just for you, went back fixed a you're to your, violla to viola, other than that please keep the trolling to a minimum. The text is parsed, spaced, and grammatically in order enough to create a point, if it appears to be a wall to you then I think you need to step up your reading material to at least 8-9th grade as it really is quite small, I can't imagine you having to read a college textbook.
The point is there to be argued and given suggestions so on that grounds if you have something actually useful to post have at it, be it criticism or otherwise.I can see what you see not,

Its so simple to fix the problem with APs and agro. Simply give all bosses in TT99 and nirvana Bramble and I bet the 4-5APS noobs learn to nurf themselves and let the barb tank it0

Sure, if the bosses were reverted too everything would be more reasonable. 100k is very little damage though, one single character can easily do 100k in 2s, let alone a whole squad. It's not just 5.0s can do 50k DPS, most classes with high-end gear can, but most classes can't sustain a DPS that high because they can not permaspark. So in that regard, the damage cap need to be higher. Also, 6m is unnecessary. Fists and daggers only have 2.5m range, realistically, making a permasparker break attacking to do anything (walk, cast, etc) twice in 15s will usually break the permaspark. It's probably better to make the boss run back 3m instead, or you would have even ranged characters chasing after the bosses as well.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.

My barb is the one I begun with, and I can still acquire whatever I need if I want it with solely my barb. Sins have way to many chi skills we will always be sparked, and we will always have that damage boost. The only thing moving a boss away changes is us being able to DD constantly, but even if the boss moves away and I have this neat thing called Shadow Jump that is only 15 second cooldown to instantly teleport 35 meters to keep DDing.BladedZero - Sanctuary

Been said multiple times before, they can all just AD/Sutra and the boss will be dead w/o them getting hurt.0
