Hey all. I have a lvl 47 wiz and i'm having fun with him but i would like to ask u a important question: If i'm not going to make a farm char(5aps char) neither spend real cash, should i still play with my wiz or will i have many difficulties towards end game? Because i dont want to be a class that isn't needed for anything or can't do anything.

due to the current situation ingame i would summarize the stand of a wiz as:

    o) relatively expensive compared to other classes (skill + gearwise)

    o) limited in solo abilities

    o) there is no real need for a wiz in most of the instances ( and will be even less when seeker is here)

    o) the wiz is outdmged by most of the other classes

so to be honest i like my wiz and i'll keep playing it but it will be one of the weakest classes endgame now

I play wizard without any alts or CSing, yet I managed to get enough money for r8. You just need to be a good merchant + spend a lot of time (maybe too much...)

Think I will roll a seeker after expansion though, looks like fun and is in some ways similar to wiz ;)

Different of many, I play this game for fun (whats the meaning to play beyond it?) and this class is one of few wich give me it b:thanks
PS: Don't reroll a class wich you dont like only because the others think about, follow your way

yes seeker looks like the melee phys DPH hp class with debuffs n aoes so it might become a phys version of the wiz with the advantage of being able to use -int instead of -chan on the gear

i also play for fun but i think the myth of wiz as the 1hitting class has to die and i also see people overestimating the AOEs especially BIDS totally. So my intention was not to say wiz sucks but it is good to be desillusionated before starting with a wiz

In my opinion, wizard IS the weakest class, a lot of other classes such as clerics can even hit as hard with normal attacks (not ultimates tho tempest hits hard). wizards also dnt really have much option but running, and for ppl like my self who do not like to kite, it is extremely hard. i admitably refuse to cs and there for re rolled a sin (which is now 5 aps) i did this because wizards need OP gear to compete with the average ppl. sins/psys/mystics have a large advantage over wizards with their speed/stuns etc. Wizard is also the most fun class in my opinion, they do not spam the same skills like venos, or alt tab like sins then 1 click and opponent death. wiz is hardest class to play/level/make money on and general pvp due to its many disadvantages. If anyone is thinkin of re-rolling an aps char for money, this may be wise. however there are rumours of aps reduction so this may hinder u. also the new skills come out in a few months so maybe they will help. also there is now caster nirvana, which is harder for wizards but it is a lot better then normal nirv which wizards can not get a squad in no matter the gear. ty for your time.

    GO TEAM WIZZIEEEEEEEEE

    holy necro batman o.o

Also, so many things wrong with the above post. Wizzies have the highest dph and the best physical defense of casters. Awesome AoEs. They even have better defenses than archers and sins at end game. With the new skills, and the general skill curve for playing a wizard, smart players should become much more effective in pvp.
