i have a pressing issue

okay so i finally got my internet and was ready to start downloading pwi. Only problem is i have dial up and when i use the direct download it works but it takes forever and then it may stop and start again. So does anyone have some other ways i can download the game file or maybe have someone send the file to me via e-mail?

    The game really isn't for dial up connections.

    You may have to go to a friend's house with a broadband connection, download the installation files to a USB drive, and then copy those to your hard drive when you get home, and then install it.

    Please note the minimum system requirements to play the game is a fast broadband internet connection. b:surrender
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    If you're having a problem with the stopping and restarting, use the torrent method. But seriously, you can't play any real MMO on dial-up. Even the majority of the web-based games will have problems. One exception would be games like Evony I suppose, but they are more like a combination between Civ2 and Risk. you could play those with pen and paper.

    damn i was hoping there was a way around that thanks though looks like i'm off to harass my friends lol
