Are sin's good at soloing?

Hi. I was just curious about the sin class as in soloing. I love to solo and to grind. I'm playing my veno right now and love it. ^^ But I see sin's all over the place and I think to myself "They must be fun heehee". But how well do you all solo/grind. If they're anything like rogues from wow you'll need a whole bunch of potions to cover up for the lack of no healing spells. I was just curious. I see alot of sins wearing all different types of armor. I've seen one after inspecting him was wearing heavy armor. Another was wearing arcane. Are you able to wear what ever you want? Thankies!!

Assassin wearing arcane ? While their main status is dex ? Gimp survive and offensive abilities ? b:chuckle

What make you see a lot of them is :
- They are the most easy to use for PK or 1 vs 1 fight
- Capable to reach 5 aps (5 attack in one second)
- Capable to solo instances with stealth and proper equipment (after high lv)
- Nice to annoy people with surprise stealth pk
- Labeled Over Powered
- Their abilities able to make them hard to kill (from people comments) like escape magic & death that no one else able to do it

I strongly recommend the light armor dex build. b:bye

I just got done reading the guide. Light armor is the way to go. After reading this guide and the archer guide. There builds seem almost the same. Yet one is ranged and other is in your face. They just look like so much fun. Yet after reading that they can't take many hits..I don't know. Much rather make a HA << Heavy armor right? Bm. b:laughb:cute

But after getting bloodpaint and higher critical rate, at high level assassin has little rest time when grinding.

Empu - Sanctuary

For the ability to solo, lets sum it up for a normal light armor pure dex (or almost pure dex) sin :

1 to 34 : pot/apo powder eater. Seems like everymob can kill you
34 to 59 : finally got bloodpaint, it helps but still seem squishy. Normal mobs become easier though, but minibosses are hard.
59 to 89 : yay! double spark, grinding becomes easy and cheap thanks to the hp regen from double spark which also boosts bloodpaint heal. Minibosses and such become way easier to solo without pots.
89 + : you get tripple spark and become a killing machine (going sage or demon doesn't matter). You can also acces some more -int gear, and will probably refine higher too. You will be able to start tanking quite some bosses. Mobs drop in a split second.

Dunno for 99+ yet, but with even more -int gear available, it must be easier to solo : More damage = faster kill and more heal from bloodpaint

yep, after 89lv sin r greate. easly kill mobs, tank some boss.
But best fun is lv 100 Rank 8 + some -int gear b:dirtyb:dirty

if u like to solo things just buy Final Fantasy or something after all this is an mmorpg.

anyways there r quite some vids of sins soloing almost anything.

Life powders can easily fix that- it's what I use.
Get apothecary lv 1 and it takes 10 golden herbs and 15 nectar for 5 of them. It increases your HP recovery by 50 for 10 minutes and it is so heavenly. I haven't died yet soloing my quests.
