You need to buy "DQ Item Merge Stone" from Boutique. It has a 25% chance of working. The other 75% is breaking all your gears, with the option of restoring them with the "Lolurgearsbroke Stone", also from Boutique.

what's dumb about it? it's greedy, yes, and arguably it's exploitative, but i actually find it rather clever. as schemes to cheat people out of cash go, anyways.

Thanks for posting this. It just saved me from the same problem. I was going to cash in my DQ points for dye and then use gold to buy the remaining dye so I could dye an entire set of fashion at the same time. (I'd rather have a complete set of matching random fashion then the clashing individual pieces I currently have).

But now that I know, I won't be spending the gold.

I... had no idea either, I was going to buy half and grind DQs for DQ Points to get the other half. I'm glad I logged in today and saw this thread.

You can, of course, attribute whatever you feel like to someone else's personality.

However, you can only stack identical items, because they lose their identity in a stack.

    And dqrewards dyes are bound.

    Meanwhile, I need to run...

Maybe we should petition the Admins to make random dye available in the event botique instead of on the DP page. Maybe that would solve the stack issue. I don't think event botique items are bound.

Everything from the event boutique is bound.

Anyway, it's weird they can't both be used since you can use unbound and bound hypers together.

It's not so bad that they don't stack, but they should change it. Like you drag 5 DQ pigments over, and the other 5 non-DQ pigments show up in the box and you can dye with 10.

Or put two boxes in the menu, one for bound and one for unbound.

Or they should just make them like TT mats, where it reads whether you have them in your inventory instead of having to drag them.

Or they should just make them like TT mats, where it reads whether you have them in your inventory instead of having to drag them.

You have to drag them because you can have several different kinds of dyes in your inventory.

They could change the interface so you only have to drag one dye into the box to select your color, but to do that right they would also have to add an available/required display (otherwise people will get confused and upset and think they had 21 dyes when they had only 20, and that kind of thing). So that would mean someone has to go in and change the UI code, and we do not know how complicated it currently is, nor how many days of work someone would need to make the change, nor how much testing they would need to make sure they did not break anything else when they made that change.

Still, it sounds like a neat idea, so perhaps someone should suggest that to them.

(That said, I can just about guarantee that we will not see any suggestions implemented until after the genesis release, for reasons which hopefully would be obvious.)
