Demon Shadow Walk Not In Game?

I swore I've seen it on AH and it's listed in the search, but there is NO information on what boss drops it, or what book you could get it in. Same goes for puncture wound and twin strike. Anyone have any info on those skills?

I have searched pwdatabase, ecatomb, and encyc in the game all say the same thing (it isn't associated with anything).

I've heard of some lower level sin books like TS/PW/SS/SW dropping in FB89 (Eden/Brim) or FB99 (Hellfire/Peachblossom) and that would be pretty consistent with the way the other classes deal with the basic 89 skills.

I was under the impression that 92 skills plus drop from SoT/aba and the 89 skills drop from brim/eden. I could be wrong though. Anyone know which boss drops which books in 89?

No, they are not able to be manu'ed by any of the 4 types of pages (unless they aren't marked for some odd reason).

pwdatabase does not list where it drops, be it in Brim or Eden. It also does not list that it can be manufactured. However, I would not rule out that old book pages can produce this book.

Ironically, even though pwdatabase shows that it exists as does the sage, another website { http://pw.mmosite.com/guide/as_psskills,1.shtml } does not even show it exists in demon or sage form.

My best bet to you would be to get a crapload of obp's and try your luck.

I have no desire to spend 10s of millions of coin trying to *see* if they just didn't list it. I only wanted demon shadow walk for the reduced mp rate for stealth....it doesn't do anything else for me. 5mp/sec isn't worth 10s of million of coin. The other books aren't really worth learning either, but I still would like to know where they come from.

Um... demon SW is reduced casting time by 0.5 which is from 2.8 to 2.3 lol... It uses 10mp/sec, not 5.

I was just asking about the sage version of this the other day. I asked a few friends, some 10x said it didnt exist lol. Thats how rare they are.

But another friend has seen it drop in SoT (it may have been the sage version). So at least Shadow Walk is out there, but I guess it is very rare. Alot of the 89 books are very difficult to find.

5mp/sec is how much I save by learning it, and I don't care about casting time.

EDIT: also seem tide form is 100% not in game, you can't even search for it on the AH lol.

Shadow walk you have to make it and it is VERY rare only about 7-10 people in our entire server have it (AngelA$,SatanMarkerz,AznAssassin Ect.) So chances of finding it our slim

But assassin books have been popping up everywhere lately so might be able get cheap heck i can't sell dagger devotion 12mil when i could easy sell it 15-18mil not long ago.

Shadow Walk drops from aba/SoT I just confirmed it from 3 people who have it or sold it. Twin Strike and Puncture Wound I'd say drop from brim/eden but I haven't confirmed it yet. I also haven't confirmed any coming from any books yet but I'm working on that as well.

Someone said aba/sot for twin strike/puncture wound but they aren't 100% sure they remember where it dropped.

Firstly, none of the skills listed by the OP are 92 skills. OBP's are not relevant. They're all 89 skills.

Secondly, 89 books drop off Peachblossom and Hellfire as well as in Eden and Brim. It was contended my Mosz (who's advise I naturally take with a high dose of skepticism) that they don't drop in Eden/Brim. I can't say I've personally seen any drop, but if you can't find them in the mysterious pages, the next best place (in fact pretty much the ONLY other places) is FB89 and 99. I will keep this topic in mind in case I see any fishy books drop from Eden/Brim -- in all honesty I haven't paid extraordinary amounts of attention to it. I already know despite the DB not listing 99 bosses as dropping any fishy books, the sage Focused Mind I bought from a friend on my sin was a drop from Peachblossom, and it's an 89 skill.

I have not ever seen a 92 book drop from FB99. Some of the 92 skills though I've seen listed on the DB to drop from FB109 which doesn't exist in the same form it does in other versions. For 92 skills it's old book pages.

PWDB doesnt have any tideborn drops for some reason. I've had mobs drop daggers and soulspheres before despite it not being in the normal drop table.

They must have added a separate drop table rather than modifying the existing ones. Too bad pwdb doesnt scan these new tables.

please note 1 item on forum i have ever mentioned that was factually incorrect

simply put while having farmed hundreds of books in eden/brim (which i haven't really done at all since 2-3 weeks ago) i had never seen seen a TB book drop there, yes (at least)some TB books drop in fb99s

Isn't Demon Shadow Walk from OBP? I've seen some in AH for 10M. And I'm 100% sure OBP does have some 92 skills; my last Demon skill - Demon Diamond Sutra was a 92 skill I got from OBP.

Edit - Nvm, I just checked forges at 1K, Shadow Walk is not listed there in the book...

Not sure about Sins, but for Psys the only books that drop are in Sot and Aba for Aqua Impact and Spirit Blast.

If you see any other books drop anywhere else, congrats, you are playing a private server b:chuckle

Tide Form as far as anyone knows is NOT EVEN IN THE GAME

Sadly all this means that the chances of me ever getting Sage Glacial Shards and Sage Sandburst Blast is next to zero since it requires spamming obp (which I'm lucky to find more than 3 on the server usually for 400k+)

Since they are only 2 skills out of the obp group i still need, I'm not gonna do that anytime soon.

Same with Redtide/Earth Vector/Soulburn with the PoF. Other classes get to farm fbs for skills, TB get to bleed their wallets dry and gamble exclusively b:victory .......b:cry

Demon Shadow Walk drops from FB99. It's rare, but not all that valuable. I had one, I couldn't get more than 4m for it. I had it listed for ages at 10, dropped it to 8, then 6, then 5... sold at 4 after a few tries.

Last I remembered, TB books did not drop in FB89. They may have incorporated it into newer game files, but when lvl 89 TB books first started dropping, they were only in FB99.

Well I just saw sage Torrent drop from Peachblossom so I guess I was wrong about only 2 skills dropping in fbs.

You can tell where it comes from by what level skill it is. This is pre-TB expansion, but the rules still apply (most of this is cut and pasted from somewhere else on these forums with a few minor changes, from a post by Asterelle.)

Lvl89 Skills (basics, fb89):
These drop from all the bosses in the fb89's. It was always 3 per orientation for the original classes, you can assume the same for the Tideborn.

Lvl 89 skills (fb99):
All other lvl 89 books drop from the last boss in either fb99 (either Hellfire Abomination or Peachblossom Ritualist). There is a 10% chance of either boss dropping 1 book. There are 96 different lvl 89 books that they can drop (48 sage and 48 demon). With 6 classes and 2 orientations thats about a 1% chance he will drop something you can use. (These percentages and numbers have obviously changed with the introduction of the Tideborn. Nonetheless, their skills drop from these bosses too, but I left them intact to show the obvious rarity of one dropping)

Lvl 92 skills:
The way to get these is to craft the books from 20 Old Book Pages.
These come from the bosses in God's Rebirth Delta (level 86+ requirement). The bosses start dropping these at stage 4 and drop on average 1 page each I think.
An Old Book Page can also be obtained by forging 10 Book Credit Cards in the cube. Book Credit Cards are found as rewards from several of the 51-60 rooms, starting at lv.96.

Lvl 99 skills:
Lvl 99 skill books come from running the cube of fate. At lvl 90+ you receive a Page of Fate as a reward for winning the cube. With 30 pages of fate you can buy a book that gives you a random book among your lvl99 books.
A page of fate can also be made out of 10 Book Credit Cards.

Lvl 100 skills:
These skills do not come in demon / sage variants. For these you need 20 Chrono Pages and 10 medium ink to craft. Chrono Pages drop from the lvl 150 world bosses that appear around the world. They also have a small chance to drop from card bosses, mini world bosses, and mobs in the past maps.

Packs
-50 Mysterious pages gives a random fb99 book (not all are available I don't believe)
-30 Advanced Mystical Pages gives a random 92/99 book. (Not all books are available with these pages)
-With enough mystical pages you can get a set of 92/99 from the mystical librarian (Not all are available)

shadow walk while cheaper in mag cost per second has a higher mag cost upon activation. Essentially it will make you use more manna unless your stealthing for 10mins or so at a time or more. Honestly I usually dont stealth long runnning though intances ect an found it to actualy increase my mag usage

Just something to consider

You save 5 mana a second by switching to it, and the extra mana per cast is 115 (135 total) so you make that up in 23 seconds...

That's of course unbuffed. If you have cleric buffs you'll never use mana. My sin would regen 2 mp/sec with demon shadow walk, so no demon shadow walk doesn't use more mana in any way shape or form.
