Here is my problem: i personally find Glowfall Wings stats so much better than the Hook and Thorn ones, but every 80+ have Hook and Thorn, is the -O,O5 that powerfull?
Thanks everyone for your answers, cya in game

Glowfall has a sight more add for DEX and attack, but I wouldn't call it "so much better". H&T > Glowfall, no doubt about that.
The more interval gears you have, the more that the next -0.05 interval will improve your damage per second, in terms of % increase. If you don't have any other - interval gears, the -0.05 will boost your 1.25 attacks per second to 1.33, a 6.4% increase. If you get Bracers of Bloodmoon and the rank 4 plate at 60, you'll have 1.54 attacks per second and the extra interval from H&T will make you 1.67, a 8.4% increase. Also keep in mind that faster attack speed doesn't only directly boost your damage per second through faster speed, but also allows you to gain chi faster for more frequent sparking.0 -
It really depends on your overall dagger progression than "is H&T better than glowfall" (it is).
For example, I stuck with non-TT daggers for my entire progression. I went 56 mold > 74 mold > 80 mold >85 frost daggers > 100 rank daggers.
There's a huge debate over whether frost daggers are better than H&T (personally I prefer frost dags, and they are relatively cheap now with frost signs selling in the 12-15 mil range).
If you are not willing to get the frost daggers tho, DEFINITELY get the hook and thorn and keep them til 99.0 -

Frost sign on RT is 20M at its cheapest. I was lucky enough to find my FC daggers for 15M, only one socket though. b:cry
It comes down to what you like best, -int or higher damage. I'm going for a mix of the two, but I usually have more than one set of daggers on me.as-sas-sin

1. One who murders by surprise attack, especially one who carries out a plot to kill a prominent person.

Latin assassnus; Greek δολοφόνος0 -
Hook and Thorn has the best damage 80-89, with the only contest in the game being Warsoul.
On 90, it's out-damaged by at least Hitman Legend, possibly the Attack Level TT90 weapon.
The Lunar dagger might also end up with similar damage on 95, possibly a bit lower.
On 99, with a few tweaks, two of the TT99 green daggers (dex and atk level) out-DPS Hook and Thorn. Those tweaks being a few pieces of gear with high +patk and high refines.
On 100, Hook and Thorn loses to Barrier Thorn: Nirvana and technically to TT100 and R8. By technically I mean that if you don't count the -0.05 extra interval for Hook and Thorn, it will lose to R8 and TT100, out of which the former is also similarly technically superior to Hitman Legend.
However, DPS isn't all that is in the question. Sometimes, the proc a weapon has can out-weight a small gain in DPS. This is especially true since an assassin has higher DPS than any other character on an equal level. For example, the defensive proc on the Frost dagger or the Lunar Dagger looks kinda appealing when you're looking at a loss of single digit percents of DPS for a really good proc.
But to answer the actual question: Glowfall Wing doesn't even begin to compare with Hook and Thorn. The only times you should even bother to consider Glowfall is if you got the mold free and don't already have Hook and Thorn, or when you could need the money from changing from Hook and Thorn to Glowfall. For example, I was considering selling my Hook and Thorn and funding my merchanting, but that was mainly because I'm working towards Energetic Robe: Wraithgate, so my damage with Glowfall would actually be comparable to how my Hook and Thorn is right now. But I won't.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.
If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.0
