Hi all, in my recently times playing my lvl 2X cleric, i've noticed that my plume shot always does more damage than my great cyclone, even when they are the same lvl.

Did anyone else notice this problem as well? As i found it quite odd that according to the skill description, cyclone should do more damage than plume, however, it's the reverse to me and the damage difference might be about 100 per shot.

    Despite it looks like a Magic Attack,Plume Shoot its a Physical attack.

    Cyclone = Magic Damage
    Plume = Physical Damage

    Enemy's Mag Res is different than his P.Def(Usually)

    As soulpeace said, the defenses are different. And at lower lvls your plume shot will do more dmg. but one you get metal mastery and different mobs, Great Cyclone will become better overall then plumeshot.

    you also gata factor in the speed cyclone is much faster then plumshot so its always good alternate both when you are fighting mobs

    When do you consider that it is faster as I would say Plume Shot but to me there are about the same.It is what Mrvate said not because of speed if one is indeed.I got both lvl 10 PS and GC with MM at lvl 9.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    plume shot does do more damage at first, as you level you get metal mastery, which puts cyclone on top.
