Seekers and bm

ok are seekers gonna replace bm? and i wanna try seeker when they come out but i dont know the stat build so i cant level him b:cry

Not really... Max sword APS is like 2.5 and they won't be able to stunlock as a caster class.

How would anyone know that for sure?but im guessing mystic is either all 5mag or 4mag 1 str and seeker 4str 1 dex i may be wrong..

Here's what I know from various sources:

Seekers:

uses existing swords.

wear heavy armor.

have very few if no stun ability or negation, at least not reliable ones. (questionable in pvp)

have equal or more aoe than BM. (good in pve)

have skills that do physical and/or metal damage(magic) based on physical attack.

have a buff that gives them a raw % increase in crit chance for 15 min. (Don't know if this can be done on other people, if it can it will be very useful in groups)


It looks like a standard heavy armor sword bm build can be applied here.

Depending on how many hp/mp you gain per level and how many hp you gain from investing in vit you can either do a standard bm or full dex build with enough in str to wear heavy armor. This is because if you only get like 10 hp per vit point it won't be worth it to invest any points in vit, but if you get about 15 per vit like bms it may be worth it to put some points in it.

I don't think they will make the seeker more tankish than a bm. At best they will get the same hp per level and hp per vit that bms get.

I saw a seeker vid at lvl 50 with 2k hp. I think we can expect them to be somewhere between a sin and a bm. Most likely intended for just another dd class.

Mystics have 3 pets they summon, and several temporary trap like pets.
They cast healing spells and attack spells based on their magic stat.
They use existing magical weapons (Except orbs).

Based on that I would say it's basically a robe or light armor build.

Status didn't do so much other than for equipment or certain build / class.
So probably the only class that might need more discussion is seeker b:bye
