    Yes you need to listen to opinions that are aimed at you, whether they are negative or positive. The only way to learn is to take critisicm. I myself have gotten whooped on these forums on quite afew occasions, and I'm smarter for it.

    And any disagreement with what you have to say does not mean somebody is spamming your thread, so you can drop that argument.

    Yeah. I'll go ahead and change it. Most people have stopped using those stupid "Game is Dead" sigs now anyway.

    Requirements:

    Very strong web communication skills. Blogging experience a plus.

    Strong track record of engaging users and growing online communities.

    Good understanding of online communities and online forum etiquette.

    Extremely well organized and detail oriented.

    Darn forums anyway. Had a nice, well-written post that went poof. Bottom line is: based on your posting here you exhibit none of these four requirements from the job posting you linked. Don't know if you meet the other requirements or not, but posting the cruft you have on the Company's OWN forum is NOT the way to impress a hiring manager.

    I lol'd at this. REALLY hard.

    Someone who has a desire to be a CM should know nearly everything there is to know about about the "ins and outs" of gameplay; how do you expect to relate to the players, understand, or even begin to relate to their concerns? If I started talking to you about things going on in TT or Nirvana, you would only know what you'd read about- you have no actual experience in those highly crucial areas of the game... and that's only two areas- there are dozens of others a 5x player would know nothing about.

    Second, you opened yourself up to being trolled by "feeding" into their ( our b:pleased ) attempts to derail your thread, and you completely lost your cool when they did it. You lashed out with hostility toward the players you want to potentially be responsible for communicating to on a regular basis? LOL umadbro b:angry?

    Third, and perhaps more of a bullet to my second point, your people skills are atrocious. You clearly are someone who is used to trying to dominate a conversation, and gets irritated the moment someone interjects with something relevant that you hadn't thought of.

    Lastly, before I end my monologue to your ineptitude, your grammar is pretty bad. Communication- especially written communication- is an important part of a CM job.

    And with 4+ pages of trolling, flaming, and players completely tearing you down, I'm sure PWI will be happy to hire a winner like you! b:bye

    I made this thread to get an answer lol, then you guys start talking if I should get CM or not? ROFL. Instead of that point less stuff, then answer the question or don't post lol and I don't care what you guys say, keep flaming and trolling since it's not working on me.     You went on a ranting spree. On the official forum for the company you want to app at for CM.

    yes 3rd post in i told him - "GMs have to work out of the office most of the time (as far as i understand it) hence the "must be relatively local" restriction." (this was spam apparently) others expanded on this with specifics and were ignored by the OPs need to constantly have the last word - one thing you can say about Frankie - seldom get's involved in arguing on the forum by posting every time someone replies to him in the negative.
