Best place to grind or make money?

I'm a lv69 and iv'e been low on money since lv50, this is probably because i mostly do BHs. So i searched through the forum looking for money guides and most of them tell me to grind, however they do not say where a good place for lv60s, lv70, etc to grind is. So i was wondering what a good place would be for me to grind. Or you can just post a link to another thread why has the answer.

Usually grinding i do on quest and npc or stash the dq untill a time of need..well since dq points are out i rarely keep th dq.But anyways im oldschool and back in the day besides grinds mobs all day and payign repair bills and losing precious time i would farm mid mats (refined steel,lumber,rubstone,fine coal)and make substance.Though the market for substance is blown due to the dumb addition made by the dev's to the boutique in wich destroyed the farming and making coin,sub still make decent profit at 30-38k each(used to be 60-100k each back in the day lol),i farmed high mats as well most are abundant up north..just investigate the area to establish a route and farm for a couple hours sell mats in your own shop or sell to the highest cat shop in arch.

Though these days i run bh's on my alts and make good profit with minimal farming mats/herbs..also sell gold at times to boost my stockpile in coin.My theory is if you are buying for your character to boost def,survival or power,speed then its money well spent.Set goals and spend wisely because u can go broke in a matter of min,hours,daysb:laugh

but as for grinding just perhaps pick a spot with your lvl or a tad bit below and kill a few to test out the drops..fast kills =more mobs=more chances for drops and coinage.


grinding and farming are 2 different things to me.Farming takes time as well but u dont lose hp/mp but gain little exp but u have to look at it as profit run not exp gain.Alot of people freak out when they have no money and have no clue that there is tons of cash along the land to get but thats what u get with lazy people these days.Mats mid and high are the main coin farming on a mount outside on the map,later on when u hit lvl 89 u can enter hell or heaven and farm hell mats/herbs and your best bet on massive coin is the herbs due to the pots needed for TW..man i make a killin.I never farm tt for coin because most of the time its a gamble with few drops and you will come out with little or none at times,mainly farm (if i really have to)for armor weapon mats..bout it.

69 wiz? Vampiric minions drop good. If you don't like air mobs, just about everything in the swamp is mag attack, so friendlier to wizzes than to BMs, barbs or assassins.

I cant remember what level mothran dazzlewings are, but I remember grinding on them when I was lower level for some coin. >,>

They're level 80, a bit high for our Wizard friend.

Purple-- 40+
Yellow-- 50+
Light Blue-- 60+

Personally, I hightly recommend trying Emerald Dragon Gulf's Clam Scout Mobs, they drop gear, pots, and pretty decent coinage. Grinding there the past few days, I've made me about 1 mil with not a whole lot of effort....not to mention the DQ points aren't so terrible a turnout either!

I also recommend the areas near the Swamp of the Wraiths. (NEAR, and not IN, unless you're the proper level.)
And it's common knowledge-- Flying mobs drop better than ground or swimming ones. Mind the foxwings though....they do tend to swarm, and they do tend to leave a mark. The mothwings and wereravens aren't too much better imo.

Nice map, but I think you got the colours wrong.

30 - Yellow
40 - Green and some Purple
50 - Purple
60 - Light
70 - That Red with a yellow Boarder

And, I'm not 100% certain after that, but pretty sure the dark blue is 90-100+.

You know, grinding Hidden Orcharid, and Shattered Jade shore at 50 might not drop well. Or grinding on mobs in their high 40s would be rather hard on a 3x char.

I made about 2mil at Emerald Dragon Gulf thanks to your advice! It was very helpful.

But are you really leaving? I thought you said you were going to be the first female Psychic in Harshlands to get to level 100 without Hypering or oracling....
