there needs to be some way to sort the elite section for gear and weapons by lvl and gear type b/c it is a pain trying to find gear you can wear.

    last i checked i uses the filter button to get to the elite section then went under tt. but the gear wasnt sorted in any way

    You type out EXACTLY what you want, and it's case sensitive.

    Which can be a pain unless you're 100% certain of the name.

    Also it's off no use if you want to browse several similar items. The A/H search/filter funtionality is better than it was initially, but is a far cry from great.

    True, it's a REAL pain. It's completely case sensitive, which is why some people think it doesn't work.

    It's quite easy for PWE to do so, just make the sort buttons work that already is in there, sort by item name, time and so on. b:cute

    I don't know what you two have been smoking, but you can just type part of the item's name in the filter and it'll give you a list of the item's with that name. So it's no pain in the *** in any way. For evil Minion's horn you can simply type in "Minion" and it'll find it.
    Same thing for anything else. I was looking for Fist mastery in AH, I just wrote "Fist" scrolled to the bottom and tada, there it was b:cute

    Its more forgiving than that... you can just type the word "Minion" and it will give you a list....

    I'd much rather be able to go look for Heavy Armor Legendary gear without having to spend 20 minutes looking it all up on PWDatabase first, then spend 20 minutes putting each piece of gear's name into the filter, only to find, none of what I'm searching for is in AH anyway.

    AH is, in all ways, shapes, and forms, totally useless for finding sets of legendary/TT/Elite gear fast.

    I'm trying to get some Heavy Armor for my Barb while he's still 23. I wanna get armor, any armor, from 30-60, that's legendary, but if it takes me an hour and a half just to find that there's none in AH anyway, I'm not going to search a second time. It's the big reason my BM has only owned a single piece of Legendary armor between level 1 and level 60.

    Same with molds. Make them sortable, catagorize them, whatever.

    I've stopped even listing anything in AH simply because of the fees and how hard it is to get anything sold in the first place.

    Use the database... it's your friend...

    1) Go to Items

    2) Go to Weapons, or Armor, or Accessories

    3) Pick the sub-category of what you want (e.g., Armors / Shirts / Arcane)

    4) Scroll through the list to the level-range you're interested in and find the elite item name in yellow


    Admittedly that's not as nice as if the AH filter *and* sort functions worked, since you could get the same list you have on the database then, but since it doesn't work and you want to see stuff, this is how you do it. Alternatively you could submit a ticket with an enhanced play suggestion asking that the sort function be fixed, but don't kid yourself... if you want to know what you're looking for then do steps 1-4 above and save the frustration of an unanswered ticket. b:bye

    Just as an example, if you type "Mountcr"... you will get all the TT Mountcrasher gear (top/pants/boots/gloves) in the sub-filter list. It's really easy if you're willing to try. Also if it takes you 20 minutes to do steps 1-4 above, then you're doing it wrong or your Internet connection is on 14kbps dial-up or something ancient... it takes 2 minutes to find stuff on the database, not 20.
