    • Noob problems: chat and camera

    Hi,
    I started playing yesterday and I am having trouble using the chat system and I cant see my character. I use the f9 button but when i close it the camera goes back to where it was?

    Can anyone help pls?

      can't see your character? it should be smack dab in the middle of your screen. what ARE you seeing, if anything?

      I swe nothing. I can zoom out and see my char using f9 but as I close f9 it returns to nothing. The mousescroll does nothing either?

      In the chat it says I cant use world chat but I cant find anything anywhere to explain what I need to do to use it?

      you see nothing at all? as in, all black or something? and the mousewheel scroll (either way) doesn't change anything at all for you? if so, you've got a bug of some sort; you'd want to mention that on the tech support forum, or open a support ticket. posting screenshots might help.

      world chat isn't available until you're level... 10, i think it was, and even then you'll need a (cheap-ish) cash shop item (the teleacoustic) for every single line you want to post in it. most of us stick to general (white-text) chat, or squad/guild channels.

      Try moving your camera around.
      To use world chat,you need to be level 10 and have an item called a teleacoustic.

      Teleacoustic cost around 9k+ in coins,are one use and usually made using tokens

      Hey pneawf..Try this: Press U,then press Game and press A,D Keys..I wont even say how long time i spent running into walls etc..

      Thanks all. I seem to have sorted the camera out. I must have been doing something noobish as it seems to be ok with me doing nothing at all...D'Oh!

      As for the chat thx.

      F9 brings the camera menu out, this allows you to position the angle of the camera and take a screenshot.
