Pole Bm's...

Hey guys, i was just wondering, why are pole bm's so bad nowadays?

All i see is fist and axe (my current build), but ive heard from quite a few people that pole bm's can be really good.

    Where did you here they were bad? If Pole is anything, it is deadly.

    Believe it or not Torc I will never be a fist/axe BM. I'm a hammer/axe bm. I do not like fist weapons as I've tried them. Polearm BM's just don't do as much damage as the other weapon sets therefore most don't play them. My opinion is use what ever weapon is best at your level. Rather its a fist weapon you pick up in an FB to a polearm you craft from materials. If you're in the process of leveling just use the best weapon you can find.

    That is currently what I'm doing now and I'm doing pretty well. I'm only level 15 but moving right along. I don't even follow the 3str 2 dex every level. I do a 6str 3dex 1 vit every two levels. And it works. :) Good luck and happy gaming! b:victory

    Sorry bout that, i never heard they were bad, just i never see any of the anymore. Like the prices, i found some skeleton axes for 1m+, and 4 Petrified Lances for 200k.

    Kinda tempted me to buy one considering i already have farstrike...


    (and this is torcuil i just changed my avatar cuz i named my bm what i had one of my wizzies name long ago, and when i post its on my wizzies avatar -_-)

    im pure pole have been ever since i played on LC server im telling ya they kick *** ... demon GS owns dude ive 2 shot bms my lvl with it b:laugh u know who yous are and yea poleblade takes mad skill to master i mean if u realy good u can stun lock with pole not many know this bbut yea im a post a polebm vid soon so u will be able to check it out xd

    Thats Cool, i would really like to see a pole Bm vid, i use pole a good bit myself and not seeing any pole bms makes me feel a little lonelyb:sad

    I have a purge spear and a zerk spear, but my main two weapons are Fist/Axe. I can use all 4 branches, but fist/axe are the most useful. Pole has it's uses as well as sword, but it's rare to see pure sword/pole BMs because they excel only in certain circumstances...

    You would use poles for killing squishies from afar and use it for cancel GS->HF or GS for full debuff.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...
