Okay so we all know - Teles are the best way to chat.
Atleast... Atleast until/if this gets coded in.

Why not just remove world chat, and instead, add ZONE chat.
Say your in Archosaur, and only want to speak with people in Archosaur.
Why have your message broadcasted through all of the game?
Why not just have a Zone chat, and remove the need of teleacousitcs and World Chat.
Sure, I get it'd be downing the CS a tad, but not really.
I just say this because it'd help merchants heavily.
I'm sure they must get annoyed with typed in their ever-changing coordinates AND wasting a tele if no ones interested.
Thoughts/Opinions?

    @ Jack, I don't think there is a "local" as for Normal... Not what I meant.

    White text is normal chat. That can be seen as long as the person is within a set range (idk the range :x).

    Trade chat, is what your looking for. Since if your in arch and somebody shouts in trade chat, it'll be see by anybody in arch (afk or not).

    I think OP means to have a channel in all areas that are correlated like for example, bamboo village and city of plume to have the same chat no matter how far/close you are to the person who posted. So basically like a normal chat where normal chat applies to all correlated areas.

    Trade chat isn't always the best place for chatting since a lot of people spam their "WTB" or "WTS" advertisements.

    I like this idea however, it would help with BH seeking squads or those who need help within the area.
    I quit PW and all its games it had to cater to me. I'm off playing a better pay-to-play game where I experience no glitches, no spamming LF squads, lose stuff in PK mode, lose exp on death or anything for cheaper price than what I paid for here. However, I'll still be lurking around pwi forums from time to time. Quit Date: March 4, 2011 RIP my beloved characters. b:bye
