Develop a method where non Fac members can enter a Merc phase allowing them to be hired for TWs.

1. They purchase a Merc token in order to enter the Merc phase
2. Enter Merc phase Fri-Sun during TWs
3. Factions must purchase Merc coins in order to hire a Merc
4. The Merc can use the Merc coins to but items/exchange for coin.

This would throw a new twist into the TWs and a new lvl of excitement. Many people enjoy TW but not the thought of joining a Fac.

The cost of someone purchasing a Merc token in order to enter the Merc phase must be high enough to ensure only serious Mercs do it.

I like your idea, but the purchasing thing is really uneccesary.
I do really think that'd be a GREAT feature to Territory War, as it'd bring a more... Competitive edge.

Need more details because I see spies going on in TWs which may cause problems between factions. Also, if the faction wins the TW and the "said player" is no longer a "mercenary" when the weekend had passed, that means they don't have granted access to teleports as well as NPC buyable items, meaning, "said player" paid just to join a TW that he/she has no rewards or perks afterwards?

If one wants to TW once in a while, there are factions that do accept such game play if he/she talks it out with the leader.

Until you've provide more details to the idea, I don't think it's a good one for now.
I quit PW and all its games it had to cater to me. I'm off playing a better pay-to-play game where I experience no glitches, no spamming LF squads, lose stuff in PK mode, lose exp on death or anything for cheaper price than what I paid for here. However, I'll still be lurking around pwi forums from time to time. Quit Date: March 4, 2011 RIP my beloved characters. b:bye

I guess whats being suggested here is a new system wherein people not belonging to any faction can sign up as mercernaries using a particular item.

For TWs, factions needing to fill certain spots can hire these mercenaries using a special kind of coin/token which would be given to the mercenaries I guess.

Once the TW is over, the mercenaries can use the special coin/token used to hire them, to exchange for other items (which I guess would need a new system like the DQ rewards/Event Gold Boutique/etc)

Well thats what I understood from the OP.

This is not rocket science. Just a simple method of employing mercs. People spy now with their alts being in so many diff factions. Someone joing a Fac for TW serves little purpose with the 100 hour wait.
I think this would be a cool idea.

Not sure where Maisha is coming from...Merc..hired to battle for pay...from the Fac. That is all..period. No other percs etc..

Sure a process would need to be worked out..i.e. a non faction member goes to the boutique and buys a merc token (more cash for pwi). You right click the token and it makes you Merc eligable.

Factions leaders can go into the boutique and by Merc coins (more cash for pwi). Which is what it will take to hire a merc for TW. Mercs can demand more coins based on lvl and abilities.

After the Merc phase is over the Merc can trade his Merc coins.

This is just aquickly thought out process..the idea here is to see if people like the thought.
