REALLY NEW to PWI - Focusing Camera and Leaping

Hey all,

I just started an hour or two ago and it's pretty fun. But it was getting a bit annoying that I can't get the camera to stay behind my character (it seems to always face North). I was wondering how to adjust the camera to it's behind my character regardless of what direction he's walking (so when i turn around or a corner he won't run into the camera)?

Also, I'm stupid with video games and got stuck for like 15min. on the intro leaping quest....any advice on getting up that stupid tower is appreciated.

    this happens automatically when you fly or swim, but i know of no way to do it when you run. you can, however, manually reposition the camera at any time --- hold down the right mouse button and drag the mouse. the mouse wheel zooms.

    double-jump, like in a platformer game. when your jump is at max altitude, just as you start falling back down, hit space again.

    So i tried double jumping from a few spots (on the platform right in front, off either side roof, and from the little platofrms on top of roof in from of the tower) and still can't get it....i stink lol

    what race are you, human or untamed? they both get tricky-ish leap quests.

    either way, do some searching in the quest tips section of these forums, these quests are frequently asked about and much answered. the search function is your friend. if that still doesn't work --- search on youtube, people have posted videos of how to do it.

    There's a way to do the camera thing with walking, though there's no description of it in game so I guess that's why most people overlook it. lol
    Press U, go to the Game tab, and check the A,D Keys box.

    As for the jumping... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipMKRkF6JQ8 all I can say is keep trying and be careful with the timing of the second jump. I assumed you're a human class based on the description, if you're something else I'm sure youtube has it xD
