Availability of Sage Skills?

Hi guys,
as you might have noticed me the master Q.Qer turned also 90+ so its time to annoy you again with a question.
I know that some of the sage skills i'd like to have come from books made with old book pages ( especially interested in earth barrrier , glacial embrace + hailstorm ) others come from pages of fate ( here i'd l ike to have the Ultis ). So my question is what is the best way to get those skills. I checked the auction house and there are only the skills from FB 89 ( gush pyro stone rain + 2 DoTs) for sale but non of the skills im looking for. Would you suggest to buy old book pages and fate pages to produce a book or produce the book with luck tokens and buy the tokens or are there any instances/mobs where i can farm for those pages ? Is cube really possible to finish for a pure wiz without having to spend endless amounts of coins? Are there any Pagedrops in Gamma?

My personal experience with sage skills:
- Pyrogram, Gush, Stone Rain bought for like 100-200k ea during double drop
- Stone Barrier bought for 7 mil from a guy WCing about it
- Mountain Size and Glacial Snare exchanged for some gems with a guy WCing (cost was about 6-7 mil ea)
- Crown of Flames bought for 300k from a guildie (this book waited like 3 months in banker till I finally learnt it :P)
- Morning Dew bought for 500k from a stall
- Fire Mastery bought for 2mil from a guy from WC, Earth Mastery bought for 4 mil from AH. My guildie bought Earth Mastery from that Gold Auction thingy for 3 gold (back when gold was around 400-500k each)
It's all about patience, just check AH and stalls everyday, pay attention to World Chat (especially just after maintenance) and sooner or later you will find that good deal.
I'm not into random books since I have absolutely no luck in things that are similar to gamblingPacks World International0 -

qft!!Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze0 -

the thing here is that all the skills that drop in FB/BH 89 are relatively cheap even below 100k
whereas the others i've seen so far were all heavily overpriced. Furthermore it seems to me the price range for books is way larger here because there are people trying to sell good sage/demon skills like ironheart for cleric for 18kk. I mean there are some skills that are actually more worth than others for instance stone barrier vs pyroshell or glacial embrace but even the less usefull skills are rarely seen here. It seems like everybody is opening up books on his/her own without selling doubled books on the market then. So i also would like to get some more info if it is worth to take the gamble trying to make books and oben them by yourself

Get SR, pyro and gush easy enough.
Set up cat shop before and after tourney every week and buy pages of fate. Get 90-120 and to take a roll for sage bids. If you get 2, your rich! If you get none, you should at least get 3 and maybe 4 skills. After that, its probably not worth it to keep doing that to get bids. I did that on my other wiz last night and got all 3 different (MS, BT and GS) so while its not sage bids, i'm pretty happy with that.
The masteries are forever popping up in that new bidding hall thing. Sometimes if you are lucky you can pick them up cheap for 1 or 2 gold.
Cube is tough for a wiz, but you can definitely do it from about 90 onwards. You can do it earlier, but sometimes you get into rooms that just take too darn long to get though."And as for bragging, I don't need to brag. I am famous, yo. My accomplishments are legendary. I am BLOODMYSTIC, speaker of truth, bane of the Barbarians of Impulse, slayer of the **** of Narla, liberator of all the free peoples of the Archosaur server, former master propagandist for our leader in freedom, Proski, and Archtroll of the PWI Forums. I do not think you get page of fate from cube until you are level 96.
But dice tickets currently cost about 240 coins each (this is on sanctuary: you can get 3750 for a gold so this price is keyed to the price of golds) , which combined with the million exps you get from a successful cube run, makes the cube a better investment of time than world quest, in my opinion. (The cube does have rooms that cost 100k to pass, but they give you rewards also and in the long run I think they average out to having no significangt cost nor benefit... assuming you have enough coin reserve to ignore them.) The cube will be frustrating, your first few runs, but once you learn each of the rooms you should do well enough. Also, wizards are better suited for some of the harder rooms in the cube than archers are...
Edit: for apples, if you can form groups of them with your eyes, and if you can count how many are in each group before they dissipate, you should be fine. (Except, whenever I tell people how to do a hard cube room, that room gets changed so I have to figure out a new way to deal with it. But maybe this description was confusing enough that I will be safe...)0 -

I can think of one, lol.
Well, I guess it repeats itself for maybe 2 or 3 idk, but its essentially the same room.
What I want to know is this: which class can count those damn apples best?"And as for bragging, I don't need to brag. I am famous, yo. My accomplishments are legendary. Just some corrections:
Mage barriers can not be gotten by old book pages, only pages made by tokens.
Cube of Fate gives pages of fate 90+, along with 1m exp."Amour is better suited to rainbow text, because he is a classy lady." - Nakhimov

I would also think about the advanced mystical pages deal, since a lot of the sage skills are really hard to get.
For 4500 Tokens (300 Pages) you get the following skills:
http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/quest/12197
As you can see, all but Emberstorm and maybe Frostblade are pretty useful, it's 4.5M per book if you get tokens for 10k each. You have to know yourself if you consider this worth it, but it won't be so easy to get some of those skills in a different way. b:surrender
Getting sage bids is really a matter of luck. I did not get one in 10+ tries with pages of fate, another person I know got 5 bids in 7 attempts... I am definitely going to try again on LC, maybe I am more lucky than on Dreamweaver.
Sage Stone Barrier... Yea try to look at wc, it sometimes drops in FB99 and people wanna sell it quick. I made a pretty good deal when some guy was selling it in wc some days ago. Now it is waiting for me to hit 89 along with pyro, gush and stone rain. b:cute

sage frostblade doubles the chi you get per cast (20 chi for lvl11), and I use it fairly frequently for chi building when I'm not in combat.Youtube Channel: youtube.com/user/D2VeT/videos?flow=grid&view=0

all 89 skills by buying relatively cheap (500k+-)
divine pyro, both dots (actually learned them, regrettably...was bored), morning dew and dragons breath from pages
first 3 tries with pages of fate -> (sage) blade tempest, mountain seize and bids
had to actually buy glacial snare and fow couple mill each0 -

Ya I heard that before, but never had it myself. That is why I wrote "and maybe frostblade". So scratch this, only useless skill is Emberstorm. It gets more and more worth it."Of course you should fight fire with fire. You should fight everything with fire."
