Which shell do I use against Hooli, Brigand, and Linus?

I can't tell with their effects when they attack me, so which shell should I use: pyro or earth?

    Apart from the fact that it looks like fire (though Im pretty sure Wurlord throws out a physical attack with his fire ones occasionally) you can always check to see how much damage they do with each barrier. If it's considerably lower with a barrier on, use it. If it makes no difference, use Glacial Embrace.
