hey there,

i am now lv 75 and i see that my dmg is a little lesser than other wizards i saw. i thought that might come from that my masteries are all lv 1 only. should i lv the masteries or is it not worth the money?

another question is: why do mages get only +20% dmg per element at lv10 masterie while archers get +60%?

they do 40% more dmg than wizards =(

please help

They are well worth leveling, and I can't really say why archers get more benefit from their masteries. Perhaps they give bows low damage and make up for it with masteries. That would discourage other classes from using bows as they don't get the mastery benefit.

I think it's ok to have them low at your level, because leveling the skills themselves first usually gives more benefit than masteries due to more damage + the range. I would start leveling the masteries when all your main skills (dps skills and nukes) are at max level.

It's a good idea to start leveling up Fire Mastery around lvl 80 - to increase damage on Dragon's Breath for GV and FC.

i assume the 60 % (75%) refer to weapon dmg and not to overall dmg but archers dont outdmg wiz in terms of DPH but in DPS since they benefit from -int gear like the other phys attack classes

If you are short of spirit or coins i would suggest to get masteries only to a low lvl where they are relatively cheap lvl 3-4. I also suggest maxing out your most frequently used attack skills first. The reason is simple the constant amount of skill dmg >% mastery in lower lvls also % weapon dmg becomes more and more important with higher lvl weapons. You should also consider to NOT max all 3 Ultis but choose 1 if you are on a budget and then learn also the corresponding mastery. For instance if you choose BIDS water mastery will be fine because also your gush dmg is boosted. Personally i wouldnt choose fire mastery since most people leave out divine pyro and prefer to use gush over pyro. On the other hand earth is also a good choice since sandstorm might be your main hard hitting spell when lvling up because compared to Glacial Snare it is relativly cheaper with similar dmg output

Then again, DB benefits from Fire Mastery, as does Blade Tempest. And BT is by far your most useful ultimate early on. And Pyrogram becomes important if you have the sage version.

Blatant double posts don't earn you any medals. Exotic car throwing competitions do though.
