mystic weapons? and armor?

hi, i have a question er two ta ask about the new class of mystics.

1. will the mystics use the same weapons as clerics venos and wizards? or will a new weapon be created that's class specific like the psychick's soulsphere?

2. are mystics going to be a solely arcane wearing class like psychicks? or will they be light armor capable too?

3. and i know this isn't about mystics, but when it says it's coming out in february 2011, when exactly in february does it mean?

if anyone ahs the awnsers to those questions please post them :0

judging by what i know of large corporations --- especially software corporations, and particularly video game makers --- "february 2011" can mean most anything before may 1st, 2011. that's if everything goes well with their translations and testing, otherwise who knows.

(hey, i'm giving them some credit, here. it's not gonna be duke nukem forever, even PWE isn't that bad.)

1. they said that they will use normal magic weapons (aka not soulsphere)

2. well, nothing really restricts u from being LA psy. i doubt that they will derectly restrict the armor type

1. From what I hear and have played, yup they can wear any magic weapon.

2. Im sure if they can wear any magic weapon then they can be Light armor too. There is no class restrictions on armor, just gotta adjust the stat points. In my opinion, I wouldn't advise a LA mystic tho.

3. Means any day within the month they choose lol. There's really no way of knowing at this point.

Im pretty sure Mystics will use new class specific weapon. If they can use any type of magic weapon people would be able to save loads of coins by using their old chars gear.

They wouldn't make money if all the ex wizards/clerics/venos re-rolling could just account stash their bound Lunar wands +10 and be all happy that they didn't have to charge zen.

I really hope im wrong tho.

Armor is of course always the same for all classes, unless its rank armor.

but look at what just happened... rank 8 came along SO CHEAP and BAM... everyone sold their cv/lunar or TT weapons so that they could go rank 8 or rank9... those weps arent account stashable lol

i know the weapons didnt dissapear and that they still exist... but... i think they planned it a little better than we think... (let them replace all their gear with gear they cant share with other chars so that when they need new equips... they have to do it all over again)

plus who knows what the new expansion brings

Once again, there's no specific weapon nor armor for earthguards.
Mystic are locked to regular magic weapons.
Seekers are locked to swords/blades.

yes, the game does restrict you from being a light armor psychick. i know, i've tried one, and done the math. it's impossible to equip the soulsphere of your level while having up to your lvl light armor on at the same time. you could wear the armor and have a soulsphere that's below your level, but for a DD class, that's just unintelligent. i'm talkin LA capable while having a weapon of the propor lvl equip.

yer first question kinda awnsered my second question tho ^.^ if they use normal magic weapons, they must be light armor capable, which is fckn awsome. i'm a light armor wizard, so this excites me greatly ^,..,^ thank you for the information and the good new s

thats soooooooo true. PWE has been making some pretty selfish sales but the game isnt THAT bad .
