Ok, We have this skill that people call useless but I like to call wizzy arma. I think that this skill could become very deadly in the right hands and with the right stats. Are there any players who want to give their opinion about this skill or tell me how to use this skill or get this skill to its max power so that we may pwn those squishy sins when they decide to play peek-a-boo?

I used to use it alot in TW - spam it in base (ours or theirs) along with WotP and Hailstorm for some additional AoE hits while you are building chi, etc. And stacking it for another fire skill to use on someone under a debuff with genie spark is nice too.

I also use it sometimes for PvE (e.g. high level FCC runs, Delta, etc.) when the mobs will die in only a few ticks of DB (or before I can even set it up). Channeling it on the shade while the barb pulls the mobs in is nice if you get the timing right.

The PROBLEM, of course, is: (1) it isn't generally effective enough as a 1 hit in pvp I don't think, unless maybe it crits, and (2) it ticks your charm or perhaps worse (I haven't decided yet) with sage where it doesn't tick your charm, it puts you pretty darn close to 51% hp so that you are ripe for someone to bypass your charm.

I also generally like to use it regardless of its effectiveness because noone else usually does. I like to be different. Let others be pro. I'll do whats fun.

The sage version has 25 percent less HP damage, so it's not quite as dicy as before. Still, it's situational and not to be used lightly. But, if timed right it can literally suck the life out of surrounding opponents. I'm about to playtest how it works in combination with Expel. I except it to work like Expel does with Dragon's Breath...ie...turn DB on and Expel yourself for the duration of the spell, and the demon might get a stun from it as well.

I left mine at LvL 1 simple because i dont got enough HP to let the skill 60% away from me
Even if some people say it's completly useless i would consider it as semi effective.
    Pros:
    12 m Range
    (Chance to Stun for Demon)
    no chi
    Cons:
Hp Consumption (slightly nerfed for sage)
    long charge time

I use it occasionally in PvE to deal fixed dmg (doubleklick) but i dont charge it because thats simply not worth it. In PvP i dont like the skill because i prefer DD from afar instead of standing in the bulk and as Sage i wont have the stun chance. Nevertheless its a great skill to annoy clerics because they have to heal you for 60% ^^

Yes, it is. In some ways it is more "dicy" than lvl 10. 25% less of 60% reduction is 45% which, like I said above, puts you in prime position to have your charm bypassed.

You can use expel with it, but expel only blocks physical damage so you will still lose either 60% or 45% of your hp.

Demon version is an excellent skill for stunning in TW/PK mainly, just make sure you only use a double click charge so you don't lose much HP.

Sage version is pretty pathetic but is useful sometimes as a situational spell or to mess around with...

    I LOVE EMBERSTORM

I use it to make people think I took aggro which makes my damage seem larger than it really is. b:laugh

Funny most people don't notice emberstorm's animation
Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze
