Upgrades?

I have seen people bragging their equiptment is +7 or higher. I can't seem to find anything or I don't know the specific term to search for in the forums.

How do I make, say a weapon into a +8?

    As far as I know, Mirage Celestones are used for that. You'll need tons of them, though --- like in most games, it's not worth upgrading gear that's not considered "endgame".
