I can easily imagine that happening, though I would not have the kind of patience I would need to reproduce your experiment.

But if I wanted to find a BH party, I would go to the center of archosaur right after midnight, server time. Sometimes this could still fail (like, if you get into a bad party that takes a long time to realize that and disband, and the active parties are long gone by then). And, of course this requires you be awake then.

But I think this should be within the capabilities of most people?

I grinded for a lot of the money I used to get my gear. Nightscream Isle has my bms fist marks all over it and the soup makers are upset at the amount of soup I made them make.

To be punished in my mind means that I cost you something. Something tangible. Like you received a nerf, or your gear was taken away or your skills were taken away or your ability to make money was taken away. Punished for me is a term that means now life is more difficult. I admit where I have seen a negative effect however I see the whole issue as being a positive effect. The players who had, still have. They have lost nothing. The players who did not have, some, of them now have a bit more. Show me or explain to me how you or anyone else for taht matter has been "punished".

Before the sale there were a lot of people who did not have a lot of rank gear. Also it was only after packs/tokens that many were able to obtain it. Do not make it sound like there was some whole legion of players who had high rank. Also many of us myself included did the one man armies and helped do the fbs and still were never anywhere near the rank required for these things. You talk about "work" but that is basically an extreme. For many players, the time required for those acomplishments is spent in real life earning actual money. The kind that keeps this game afloat. Real actual work not hitting keys for entertainment and a sense of empowerment. Actual day to day work. Like mine where I am in a state of danger because of the chemicals etc I have to work with. That kind. so forgive me if I cannot be like some other player (because I highly doubt you born are one that falls into the category of having r7 or higher strictly from doing it old school) and spend all day killing mobs mindlessly so that at lvl 100 I can say I "worked" for my character. When you know what real "work" is where people depend on you for a living you get back to me.

But this is a game and "work" here is the endless mind numbing grind that the chinese believe is the way a game should be played (pve wise). Thats why they have actual "working" player whose real "job" is to do the endless grinding required to farm gold/rupee/whatever it is they do. Well thank you PWI for recognising things such as sanity and advancement. Work huh......hmmmm.

As for common sense, you are right because it seems there is not enough to see the point I was originally making. Clearly the idea is just to insult. But then agains thats what forums are mostly about where gaming is concerned:1 upmansip, I know more than you/sound more pro than you.

I will take the advice offered to me since it seems only certain people on this forum believe themselves to be authorities on this game and no one else can make"common sense".

Don't try to impose your definition of punishment onto others. Punishment does not mean life is made more difficult. Punishment implies a penalty applied for an offense. For a lot of players, the fact that they felt punished for working their way up to rank gear or Nirvana, means they felt getting it was a mistake in light of the sale. Got it?

Everyone knows RL work is more work. Even flipping burgers for 8 hours is more work, but it doesn't change the fact that more effort, money, or time spent into something should return something more. People who farmed and spent more time getting this gear or paid more for the gear should expect that others who have not done so to not have the gear, period.

Not a game based on Cash Shop box spamming. Principle: Why do you think WoW has lasted so long? Cause the Tier 5 and 6 items for a while were hard to get hence the principle of achievement over time. But some producers of PW don't listen to any suggestion other than a massive wad of cash waved under their nose.

Kind of fitting, don't you think. Money talks. It all comes back to a post I made earlier about non-harmful gameplay and keeping your players entertained. At the end of the day I'm not fussed I'll just buy stuff from the CS, its all the same to me. Cause I also acknowledge that servers need to be maintained an salaries paid. I just think all the 'freeloaders' can shut the hell up and get the hell off if they don't like the game. Go play other F2P MMOs that are full of BOTS and then come back here and tell us you had a good time.
