Gear Progression for Me. Help requested.

I'd like some assistance going from that into a hybrid Tank/Fist barb build. Meaning I want to be able to use fists at level 100 for 4/5 aps without the LA bonus btw. I have no interest in the LA gear b/c I want to tank FCC's etc. with massive hp from refines and vit stones.

I currently have the HA TT99 wrists, leggings, and boots waiting....sadly they all came out 2 socket b:cry

Money isn't an issue, I will CS, merchant, farm TT or nirvana, spend time grinding...I don't care, I will get it sooner or later.

I'm also wondering if I should get TT100 Striking Dragon Fists over the Lunar claws b/c I'm gonna refine no higher then 10 and I heard that was the cutoff.

And glowing Red Fists looks Sexy as hell and I love Red stuff, my fav color b:victory

Anyway, I'm gonna have both Cube Neck and Warsong Belt as a must b/c I want high magic defense...other then that have fun with it.

I basically want a good path to obtain the new gear from here, which stuff I should work on getting next etc. to be most effective and when to restat....like how much hp and stones in gear etc. Thx.

I've been waiting on some of the TT99 setups on some of my builds because of the rumors flying around that TT99 set bonuses might get nerfed with the expansion to require 4 pieces to get -int. This might affect you since are set on your necklace and belt, if they start requiring 4 pieces you will have to change one your ornaments to TT99 HA.

Max aps for a barb is 4.0 unsparked / 5.0 sparked with the HA/LA TT99 bonuses. Without it you can only get 3.33 unsparked / 5.0 sparked.

To get 3.33 you will need every piece of -int currently available (more might come with the patch):
2 pieces TT99 HA (4 if expansion changes things) -.05
- int tome (Pan Gu's, or Love: Up and Down)-.05
TT99 bracers -.1
Nirvana Leggings -.05
Lunar Cape -.05
Fists with -.1
(total of -.4 int)

Fist options are Deicides, Striking Dragons, or most first recast Nirvana. This will get you to 3.33 base, 5.0 sparked. That's a perma spark.

To wear your fists you will need 2 dex per level, with Deicides requiring the lowest amount of Dex at 193 (Striking Dragons requiring 198). You will require a reset to get the Dex, obviously, possibly several as you add gear. End game it should look like this:

That's basically the bm build. I recommended Lunar ring for the accuracy and CoA ring for the Dex/Vit add, as well as the CoA ring can be refined for more mag whereas the Lunar can be refined for more pdef.

Order to aquire it? TT99 HA wrists, then plate. Then Lunar Cape. Now you have -.2 interval and acquiring fists would boost you to -.3, which would be worth it for a major damage increase except that the last two pieces you are missing require serious cash, or serious Nirvanaing. I'd stay an axe tanking barb (before restatting your vit away for fists) at least until I can get some uncannies from Nirvana runs. Once you have your uncannies and have made your leggings you will only be missing 1 piece. The hardest piece to get (150-300 mil). The -int tome. Refine up your gear, get your fists, then restat. Once you get your tome restat out again the dex that your tome gave you into vitality. Try to land dex with equipment on either fist minimum, or multiple of 20 right above it.

I might even consider substituting the CoA for the Cube neck if the refine is good enough, which would free up one of my spots for the bonus if they change it as you say.

I look at what you said and looks like I need CoA ring, lunar ring, TT99 chestplate, Nirvana leggings, Tome, and some Fists/claws.....The others I have already.

About 600 mil should do it I'd think, for refines, gear, and gems.

bit more expensive but super-badass endgame fist barb, if u want to tank against interval classes, bms still have fist mastery and will probably out dd you with lunar claws/take aggro still, if you use the tt100s with this build (30% crit b:dirty) 18k hp standing too you should be able to maintain aggro much better than most average 5aps bms with claws. however cant speak for sins, they are too op with 5aps daggs especially with the damn r8 being so easy for them to aquire now... dont worry about too many claw/fist archers though. O_O


you say youll max at +10 so im assuming you can afford to be a bit more luxurious with the gears you pick

if so you can get 2 pieces of nirvana lionheart armor (with epic stats and refinement hp being g15 with +5 att lvls for 2 pieces) you still retain 5aps sparked with some badass hp and defence b:victory


I wouldnt recommend coa ring, mostly because compared to the lunar rings (they are now like 25m on my server) you would need a +6 coa ring for the m.def of a standard lunar ring, and lunar rings provide epic accuracy boosts too! with 2 lunar rings and demon blood bath this build has 8000 accuracy b:sin

Also lets face it, in human barbs are SQUISHY in p.def, in tiger we are tanks, so unless u plan to somehow glitch tiger-fist (dont, due to being bannable or something b:surrender) just refine the lunar rings for extra p.def in human



get yourself a warsoul of earth instead of g11 tt helm, not only does it provide some nice str, but

g13 refines> g11 refines


+10 your g14 event orns if you can,

the robe refines like tt99 gold La so if you refine anything leave that till last.


refine the tt100 fists and 2 piece nirvana first (as they add the most hp per refine and ofc the fists need to be refined most for aggro keeping "n" damage)



With the shards, Even if you only get 2 sockets, save those sockets for the best possible sharding you can get, recommend vit stones citrine gems if pve based, jade of steady or dod/dots if your pvp oriented.

no point doing something like adding a socket to your tt99 gold sleeve/boots for 600 stones a piece (5-6m average price) and then sharding an immac citrine
