tanking pets

ive heard a rumor that those bug mobs r some secret tips for venos, well ive heard from several venos that they tanked polearm and gaurnob in BH69 with those bugs pretty easy without stress.

can some1 confirm this?

    uhm i meant those bugs running around at the starting area those lvl 1 and 2 mobs

    the general rule for pets is that the lower the pet's starting level the better it is stats wise in comparison to a similar pet caught at a higher level

    for example the stats on a petite sawfly levelled to 35/6 are better than those of say the wimble goldwing (bee above allies camp).

    the stats and growth on the jaden quingfu (the little beetle thing from the 1st quest at the starter areas) mean at high levels it is one of the better tank pets see here for comparison table

    a nice alternative to the usual golems (magmite/glacial walkers) for those who want to be a little different and it really confuses squads when you pull out the pet lol and they ask "where is your tank pet"

    Never heard of it, and I seriously doubt it, since Pole can one-shot a herc when the axe hits.

    well i know that. but ive heard those rumors... i might try that on my veno tho, with snowmen event i can lvl it pretty quick. just wondering if any1 experienced this.

    I've never heard such a rumor. And I think it would be smart of you not to try to see if these rumors are true, unless of course you have xp to burn heh.

    uhm u know exp r just some pixels? i never cry when i loose exp or rage, its a game supposed to be fun.

    well i would try to find out if the rumor is true too, too bad i have no veno high enough.
    after all thats some content in game i want to try, and not miss out because i could loose amazing 2 % i get in 1 ff run back

    I've used a quadrastral beetle as a tank pet for some time now (those are the little blue bugs from the starter areas). They're very solid, well-rounded little pets (and they come with the Tough skill, which is nice), and I've used mine for grinding, as well as luring in TT.

    I wouldn't tank Pole with it, though. b:shocked

    I heard you can tank pole with any range pet ie: marksman, catapod, etc.

    A good moderator should:
    - Have the computer skills necessary to handle forum-related tasks (Web skills, basic programming)
    - Be patient to handle all sorts of requests
    - Be level-headed to keep discussions and some petty squabbles in check.b:cool
