Visiting... maybe?

So I've been playing the Forsaken World beta for a while but with the current lvl 40 cap and opposing guilds constantly turning down our war requests, there's a lot of PvP-less down time. So I was thinking that I might want to drop by PWI occasionally during the dead time for some PvP fun.

And then I saw someone posting that 8jun now costs $72.

Has the "average" gear on PWI skyrocketed that much now that I'll be like a little duck wearing NPC gear wandering out of safezone into a world of +12 8juns? Or is there still decent skill-based PvP/TWs floating around? Has the map been reset yet like on LC or is it almost mono-coloured? Are TWs even taken seriously still? Do the faction names "Zulu" and "Kylin" still mean anything or have they disappeared into history like "Kingdom" and "QQme"? Do people even still remember who I am or are the servers now completely filled with hyperstone'd lvl 102s? O_o

    I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to play fw. It's like I thought i twas being developed by somebody else. Considering whats coming out and the history of the developers of fw. I have /facepalmed myself enough for wasting my time on fw.

    As a veno and with your gear you will still keep owning alot of ppl. Rank8 is so cheap that almost anyone that puts money in the game can get it, the thing about it is that most of the rank8 around only have +2 to +5 refinement which isnt a big threat.

    I have no rank8 and still do pretty well at pvp xD

    ohhh forgot to say... FW is good not because of the graphics but more because of the features, although a little bit of improvement in the character designs would help alot cuz the chars look like robots there. Customization can totally change the feel for a game just cuz of the uniqueness of a character look.

    i was going to try FW but oh well seems it sucks then... des i dont think pwi is worth it now... i havent play for 5 months but oh well there's no match in tw now no now real gain.. mirages as rewards thats so cheap... i still have like 500 mirages in bank... mirages was never an issue in this game.. money is... i heard jon doesnt want to log again because of that.

    Just because they can afford the $72 does not mean they can afford the +12... or even the stones to go IN the Rank 8.

    Yup, I completely miss the level of customization available on PWI. And the fashion b:cry

    Ahh, the memories. Yeah, I kinda lost interest when TWs died. Was half hoping that the GMs would actually try to do something about it as they supposedly promised, but guess that hasn't happened yet.

    The last time I dropped by PWI-HL (before FW beta started), I dropped by west gate and solo'd a squad of obviously hyper-stoned lvl 100+ red names. When I looked at their gear, I was quite surprised to see +10 Nirvanas all around. Wandering around Silver Pool, I got ganked a few times by a +12 sin, but was still able to fight en-pare with my +5 gear because I knew how to counter cash-shopped-experienced 5aps players. Many months later, my gear hasn't changed, I have probably gotten rusty, and I'm sure the gears of others have gone high up (Nirvana is standard nowadays like HH90 once was I hear?) Or are people still considering +7/+8 HH99 end-game?

    So long as they dont 1-shot you, most of the R8's wont be much of a challenge. They dont have the armor to defend themselves, just attack.

    +3 G8TT90 - G9TT99 wrist boots is still pretty average armor.

    Kylin = pretty much gone, Crimson will follow suite unless R8 turns the tide.

    PW is looking broken, this expansion needs to save the game badly. That said, I think most of us are still having fun tho b:chuckle
