This game is ****ed up. End of.
I haven't played since september, but I thought I'd log on again to see my old faction mates when I had a bit of free time. They were fine. The game was not.
People have complained about the games corruption since ani packs were first introduced. We have complained but essentially nothing was ever done about it.
Players adjusted and things went on... The complaints were read but never acknowledged.
Logged in, first thing I thought I'd do is check gold prices. Over a mil, per gold. What the hell happened there, it's 2.5x what it was before. And the answer was immediately obvious. Incredibly cheap packs. It's pathetic.
I then scrolled down the CS window to see that you could actually just BUY wraith badges and mysterious chips. Reputation was one of the few methods of earning gear that was still some amount of work. Somebody with decent rank gear was impressive. But all that work I put in in my sins 60's to earn enough rep for his -int rank armour - according to you guys, is worth a total of $4. Absolute bull****.
Chips in the cash shop? Now I know there is a chipping fee, but c'mon if you're buying chips from the cash shop you can just sell 1 gold and get all the money you need. This means that you officially can just buy gear from the cash shop now. And it's pathetic, this is what marked PW's cash shop as invalidating the whole structure of the game and its relation to the cash shop.
You can now buy reputation and buy equipment, you can buy levels for super cheap now that tokens are so cheap (hypers)... so what game is there left that you can't just buy? As the guy at the pub quiz would say: "BUGGER ALLLLLLL"
Now I recalled the "dragon points" idea... A way of making it up to the players who were screwed over by the cuts to DQ items. Lets remember now why DQ prices were cut, because supposedly it affected the economy because of farmers... ... ... okay then the DQ prices screwed the economy up since day #1 (gold = 100k); your TW changes, DQ Price drop (your supposed fixes) (gold = 1mil).
Anyway back to the point - it isn't even an in game feature... so the way to make it up to us, is difficult to access... presumably you were hoping not many people would bother if it wasnt in game. *******s.
So you are "trying" to fix a problem, but your pathetic attempts to fix the economy dont do **** all. And whilst claiming to try and "fix" the economy - you half the price of packs and sell equipment and reputation.
Guys who have read this far - just go play a p2p game, at least there the companys income isnt based on in-game sales - so the economy will be much more stable. And generally there are more frequent and fun updates. PWI is a mere shadow of its former self.

reputation should have never been avaible by trading(tokens) or money. its something you should earn due hard work. something you deserve due helping with FB and quests. neither cash players nor farmers would get it with coins or money. it would have been such a great archievement and sign of pride. now its nothing more then a sign for noobs who hypered due there lvls (i m not saying all did..i m saying how it looks like for other players).
such a pitty...destroyed last bit of hard-working goal in game totally.retired 11/11/2009 cause of packs. came back 8 months later just to realise it got worse. retired second time 10/11/2010.0
