Why do people say Rank VIII Sucks for Barbs?

Rank 8 weapon http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/12650 72 Gold

2nd Tier nirvana http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25653 230+ Raptures

TT 100 http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/15031 50 mil


It is far far better than the tt100 weapon, the common standard. Other than rank 9, and a good 2nd cast nirvana roll the weapon is stellar.

    it sucks because back in the days rank8 wasn't 72 gold. same reason no one did r8 BM. not worth it

    R8 for BMs STILL sucks even at 72 gold. A class that uses 4 types of weapons, restricted to only 1 R8 choice? What the hell?

    And R9 being dual axe only? Simply stupid. Even barbs get -interval on their R9 and BMs don't...

    I am kinda seriously thinking about getting r8.

    Better weapon than I have atm, I don't see myself going G15 Nirv.

    Since I am a claw barb, my crit rate will be amazing.


    But ehh....if gold drops in the month, I might get it.

    All my 2x no-life Nirv farming will pay for this. b:laughb:surrender

    And my HP isn't too bad either.

    Because once upon a time dual axes were the best weapon for BM. They still are actually in TW. Seeing so many run around thinking they can kill with fists is funny and easy kills for me. I died a lot more to BMs back when they used axes.

    Fists are only good for a 1v1 or PvE.

    He didn't want to use only fists, he wanted to use all the weapons. Axes were good and still is good in mass PvP but spear was also a solid PvP weapon no?

    I would disagree, pole is the best TW weapon for a bm, first off you got an amp, you get a second aoe stun, and you have a longer range so you can attack out of an aoe distance
