Can I be scene now since I was saying the game was dead before it was cool? b:cool

Anyway, I have patiently been reading forums since I finally quit the game until PWI made their next big ****-up, and I have been greatly rewarded for my faith.

Grim, this has nothing to do with the latest patch, I won't even mention what they did, but I understand that you'll probably still feel the urge to move this or delete it. Whatever.

But why wouldn't you guys listen? I see so many people that just didn't get enough of PWI's abuse. Is this enough for you now? Do you finally see why the game has been dead for a very long time and some people are only starting to see it now?

I almost ruined my pants this morning when I opened up the forums to see numerous threads titled "I quit." and "Who quit, list your names." I'm still enjoying the steadily plummeting ticker of the PWRD stocks. We're still at less than half from when the stocks were at their peak and PWI had some semblance of a decent game.

I told you so.

This is what you get for being greedy and not listening to your playerbase. So long suckers.

NightRage, you are right. The game could be saved, but it would take extensive work. The problem is that the Chinese devs don't care- as long as money is flowing in, they will not change anything save to increase money flow. Until the game becomes unprofittable they will not even consider making it better, and it is only a matter of time until everyone realizes it. New players cone in, sure, but that will also dwindle, and this game will go where so many other MMO's have gone: the MMO graveyard.

The only way to save this game is to act now and give a lot of compensation to players, and to use their brains!!! However, I realize, and so do many others, that the odds are very much against a turnaround. I only hope some of their other games, like Forsaken World are better.

The game isn't dead, the game is broken. There's a big difference.

Play just about any of Zynga's Facebook RPGs and you'll notice that they have virtually no game balance at all. Playing them consists of just clicking on stuff, because strategy, tactics, skill, etc... won't help you at all. Yet they continue to be some of the most massively successful MMORPGs in the world.

I'm sure PWI will make a ton off this sale, and the game will live on. But the game balance is pretty much gone, so anybody who invests heavily into the game will eventually be punished for their efforts.

If anything, this event has simply taught me to never install another PWI product again. It would be foolish to think they won't do this kind of thing to any of their other games, which means any money/effort put into any of their other games will eventually end up being thrown away by PWI.
