I'm a fairly new player, so I don't know exactly what's going on aside from a lot of people don't like it.

What happened in the patch tonight? And what does it mean, exactly? Everything costs more coins? More gold? More real money?

From what I gathered, though not sure if this is right, the gold to coin exchange rate went up. If this is all, why is the game dead? Though I'm assuming it's more than that.

    Because endgame relies heavily on gear, and the best gear just got incredibly cheap for people paying with real money, while non-cashshoppers still have to pay what they did before the patch. Not to mention consumables for the cahshop (charms etc) just got really expensive for non-casshoppers

    I see. So what's going on is they are trying to lean towards more people paying real money?

    They've been doing it for years.

    Basically what's been happening over the last year or so is that our version of PW gets every patch that Perfect world China gets stuffed down our throats, even if there's nothing wrong with our version of the game.

    So what isn't broke in the first place, gets broke when they try to fix it, basically. Theyv'e broken Twilight Temple Territory War, and now Nirvana, which is one of the most powerful instances in game.

    It's making people mad.
