How do you get a star symbol in front of a pet's or faction's name? I have seen several things like hearts and dots and stars and just want to know how to do it. I can't find anyone that knows how and when I ask one of the players who have it they say they cant tell. What's going on? Does anyone know how?

There's a tool in windows that allows you to access all of the funky characters in a font, but first you have to make the system aware of the Perfect World fonts.

First, look in your Perfect World install directory under element/font or element/fonts for some *.ttf files. Those are "True Type Fonts". Copy (NOT move, copy) them to your Windows/Fonts directory so the system can access them. It may take a moment for the system to import them after you do that, after that you're set and you won't need to do that again.

Once that's done you can hit the Start button and look under Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools for the "Character Map" program. Alternately, you could do Start -> Run and run "charmap". Once that's open select one of the fonts you copied (the name will start with "FZ"), then scroll through the characters until you find the one you want. Double-click that character and then click the "Copy" button, and then you can paste it (CTRL+V) into Perfect World.

Note that if you put anything other than letters in your faction name that you won't be able to get a custom faction icon if you want one when your faction becomes a level 3 faction.
