This goes out to all you people that are in big time or were in big time factions-Enrage, Tao, Radiance, TheEmpire...

Have you let in a person who should have been just as controversial drama wise on the server as their spouse in-game but didnt let their spouse in? Or to make it easier-Have you let in one person who should be controversial but rejected their in-game wife/husband? Or do you all handle your drama and your difference more "maturely" and for the sake of TW let them in when you know they're both good TW players?

Here's my dilemma-Im on a different server and after things went wonky I decided to join a upcoming faction purely to spite those that backstabbed a bunch of people. However I should be just as controversial as my RL boyfriend who's also my in-game husband, yet I was let in with praise and warmth. Now, when he apps all hell breaks loose and all of a sudden he's ten times worse than the most notorious people on that server. So not only am I feeling uncomfortable with the knowledge that people in the faction Im in can love me but hate him, but Im getting "ewwwwww that faction?" from my friends in the other rival faction. But the funny thing is even when all my friends there will vouch for me and him, the leadership there hates him too so its as if no one can put aside their beefs and just TW and take it out there. Both factions are playing the numbers game-one cares more about it than the other, but Im rather pissed that a server like that can't put aside some petty **** and just have one extra good player (which numbers are everything when theres 2-3 all well geared factions on the map)

I want to play w/ ppl I care about and Im tired of being a pawn in 2 people's rival and feud. Which is dumb considering I did want to be in a TW faction but that's beside the point. So people from Enrage, former Tao, Rad etc.- you know your drama, so speak. (I havent been on HT for a few months now so I'm rusty on whats happened up til now, though Im assuming Enrage has nearly taken the map and TheEmipre is still clinging?)

i say honestly...deal with it and get over it. no one is required to accept your ingame hubby/RL bf...

I myself was in Radiance for some time a year ago or so. I went to another "up and coming" faction that got big and fell...I ended back in Radiance due to me letting go of the issue that i had with them. But i certainly didnt expect them to do the same, fortunately, different leadership made things easier.

ahh but i digress...pollitcs and war will always go hand and hand...

I hear that if you dont like the way a faction opperates, there are a Maxim amount of opportunities to do things the way that you would like them to be done

Sad truth of the interwebs. You're a girl, at least they believe you are (no idea of real life truth). Women are greeted alot more warmly and forgiven much more easily as they're rarer, and everyone whether consciously or unconsciously, seems to tend to want to beef up the female portion of their guilds to a better equilibrium with the males.

I see this as being true... XD However.. the females can see threw most of that just like rl.. but.. most don't have the power to over rule the males.. or the guys just don't want to listen (which is the majority, and majority rules in this situation XD).

I was in tao for awhile and now another faction which like the rest need more bodies for tw but the amount of drama a person can make can reduce your numbers further..(hence the kick button and the part where I get to say "I told you so.") If leadership has a beef no way they're getting in or staying long b:chuckle TBH if it was going to be problem for you to not be in the same faction chat, should have applied same time and if one didn't get in just not accepted.(not meant to sound mean, text is soo emotionless) ><

As for us just hit invite, and if they don't do whats expected of them as a member (i.e. try to not cause trouble, and TW which I'm sure is the point of a TW FACTION) they get the boot.


But always remember.. girls gossip.. and if they are active and have any experience with you (whether female or male characters) they'll most likely remember the experience/history with the "female" players if they like to compete with others.(especially since theres a smaller ratio of usb:surrender)

You could always just, y'know, not join facs that are too serious. But then, you'd have to sacrifice TW for it probably. Non-TW facs are the most accepting, and TW facs are the most caught up in drama. That's all but fact on HT now.

Yet another reason I should never go into TW, I suppose. :P

Here's a solution: Don't join any faction. The two phrases "Faction" and "TW" inherently create most of the drama you'll see on HT. It's much better to enjoy the show from the outside.

That depends. I don't know who you or your spouse are, and i don't know what you and your spouse has done to make people not want your spouse in your guild. You speak of "maturity" as if this game is just a game. But people can be incredibly immature when it comes to drama. The "mature" way to go in that case would be to reject that person. And if my faction would reject your spouse, you'd be rejected too.

Also if someone has done or said something negatively about my faction/members i'd never want to share my guildchat with that person.
