Solo players get shafted by PW

Ok so a lot of players prefer for different reasons to try make it to endgame on their own(personally i've been in plenty of factions and usually people will use you to line their own pockets and get all their quests done/gear farmed before suddenly forgetting you exist when needing help with your own farming/bosses etc)

But past 80 its just plain ****,gets bad from 80 to 90+ then its just completely useless trying to do any farming,do your cultis,gain access to oht maps thanks to the ridiculous forcing of players into rebirth... i mean i spend real life cash to get a herc,more to get myself extremely goodgears and yet i'm at the point where all i have left to do is one daily in first oht map(the lower bounty hunts if i'm lucky enough to recieve it),farm normal mobs for dragonquests at a cut price sell back...not to mention the dropping of those were so obviously nerfed it isn't even funny,and if i want to improve my gears further i either have to spend the rest of my life farming these normal mobs for next to nothing,soloing squad mode tt's which are basically not even worth doing anymore(after the hassel of getting 3 others to help open the damn thing)or plough more money into the game.

Ah ploughing more money into the game,i could do that...infact i want to do that...but whats the point i then think if everything is closed off to me at endgame!

Make a solo mode nirvana that all or most classes can do(ofcourse it would still have to test your abilities)drastically reduce drops/rate of,but at least that way you aren't forced into a squad with greedy mother****ers with no life running that instance all day long with their 5aps and keeping prices fixed...there is zero competition in the crystal market and i'm not going to break into my bank account to throw hundreds of millions into these peoples pockets to improve my own gears.

I would spend more money to improve my characters survivability to farm a hard solo mode nirvana,win for pw there.

Take the damn rebirth culti out,swap it with something else more manageable,it is 100% impossible for me to get in a squad for that as when i first got interested in rebirth i was around 85 and no one would take someone who didn't know how to do it for a training run.

I would also love to go pking,usually solo but again i can't because so many people have hypered/ff and no lifed nirvana with their factions(or cash shopped too much)and are walking around with +10-12 nirvana equips and level 101+ that it would be like david versus goliath,without the miracle outcome.

Plenty of successfull mmorpgs have accomodated solo and social players,why the hell is this one specifically forcing them out more with each update?WE SPEND MONEY TOO just give us stuff to do ingame...

AND FFS FIX THE BUG WHERE YOU GET PERPETUALLY STUCK in a jumping loop coming off of aerogear,sometimes even running down a hill,that ****s been around for what,2 years almost?

No one give me the line about this being a squad game,that is not stated anywhere on site,infact class descriptions etc give the misleading perception that solo playing is also accomodated...and yeah it is..to a point ):

Rebirth cultivation isn't bad. What makes it bad is that most players didn't bother to learn it and would much rather just hyper spam FCC. Players like you are what happens when PWE introduces a "better" way of gaining mass amounts of experience.

TTs not really worth doing- yup, completely agree. I blame double drops spam, yet players keep wanting those double drop events and those TT mats are doomed to forever stay cheap. Until TT99 gold mats, that is.

The rubber banding is annoying, and no, it hasn't been around for 2 years. More like 8 months- 1 year.

If the game gets under your skin that much, time to uninstall?

Some valid points. Especially the one about the rubberbanding. They had it fixed at one point. But then after a big update they must have used an older section of code with the new stuff and it's **** again.
As for the RB, pm me in game from your main when your not mad anymore, maybe we can get something done there.

I mean, my fac lead does TTs with me all the time for mats at no benefit to himself, but that's because he's 101 and bored. XD I'd never dream of asking him for help on a run purely designed for profit. So it sounds like you've just had very bad luck with factions.

*cue violin* Had friends,factions the whole shebang,and in every case they were users and always got a massive ego*end*But that doesn't bother me much,got used to going on my merry way alone,what does bother me is why everything is closed off to solo types past 90,maybe i feel ripped off by pw after investing money and time.

Actually did uninstall a while back(to that other poster) but strangely pw is sometimes enjoyable,lotta faults with it but at its core still a decent game,and i've played most other mmorpgs to death can't see any that interest me yet.

That rubber banding issue has been around much longer than 8 months,i remember it from when before i uninstalled and took a break for maybe,9 months idk maybe longer,and i refuse to believe they can't fix it its just laziness,moneys still flying into their pockets so why would they bother it seems to me...and its the most infuriating thing as it seems to happen far more often than previously now.

As for nirvana,sure 5 aps could solo a solo mode,but with drastically reduced drops and probably more cost to them than doing a full aps squad would make it no where near as profitable as squadding,but it would be a way for other players who either solo or even can't get into squads(casters mostly)to stand a chance of improving their gears,and not be at the mercy of a price fixed market.

When something is harder to do, prices go up, not down.

When certain players master a particular instance and do it over and over and over again, generating lots of the same drops, those players want to sell and cash in on their profits, not hoard them in a futile attempt to "price fix" and thus generate absolutely nothing for their efforts.

So yeah, calm down and think rationally. If PWI actually made the Nirvana changes you're requesting things would get worse for you.

It sounds like you're just burnt out on endgame, which is totally understandable. Making alts, and then actually playing the game instead of spamming scarlet fruits / oracles / hypers is a very good way to reconnect with what, y'know, actually makes this game awesome.. Doing the early killquests and visiting all the map's various locales (and I mean really visiting them, not just doing WQ) is far, far more immersive than most things that endgame offers IMO.

EDIT: Not saying you specifically spam scarlet fruits / oracles / hypers, btw. Just speaking generally. :P

My point is, yeah you're right, its not even fun to pk anymore because of all the +10-+12 gear, and 60-70% of the people doesnt have time to play 6 hours a day to farm coins everyday to make + their gotdamn gear, and not everyone can spend 10k dollars a year on this game.

Alot of games has a system that after a certain level you cant get a kill point if you kill someone that is 20 level under you or 10, they should make a system with thoose who has godly gears doesnt get a kill point if they kill a person with sucky gear. ( which probably wont happen).

But yah i'm annoyed as well that everything is to expensive to buy, i mean the tt99 gears is probably 100mil, then theres tome, refining etc. Takes abit to long to achieve them, and yes i know some people will say "now that you dont need thoose gears to play this game", yeah we dont it but we want it, and there should be a easier way to achieve them since you cant farm tt 3-3 anymore.
Well it is possible to do tt 3-3 but you need like + sky high gear lol, and there should really be a easier way to make this game abit more fun, but nothing will get changed, people complain alot but doesnt do much about it so, no matter how much we complain nothing will get changed unless alot of people does something about it like bashing this forums for weeks or something lolb:thanks. But ya, this thread will get ignored by the end of the dayb:laugh

Nah never oracled or spammed fruits,though i am playing this lowly cleric a lot in last few days...was having fun till i logged in my veno for an hour

Never was i warned on official site or forums when i started in first month of pwi release that vast sections of the game would be closed off to me if i wanted to or was forced to play solo.

The squad issue is only a small part of many much bigger issues, none of which PWi staff cares to fix ever...

but it's true that 3-x bosses have gotten too ridiculous with conventional squads.

I got tt gears,i made plenty of money,i also spent plenty of real life money to get other stuff,that isn't...exactly... the issue.

Friends aren't friends on mmorpgs.In my experience anyway.

I havent seen any kind of drop in prices on nirvana mats,and don't see how in the future that's going to change,well....a long way into the future at least...

As for making it worse for people like me,how so?I would now have the ability to farm my own mats(yes slower than squadding but i don't care about that)and no not just to sell them because theres nothing more valuable than nirvana gear i'd wan't to get.

Same for anyone else that would solo i bet,it would drop just enough to make you feel like you're being rewarded,but not enough to drastically effect nirvana mats prices being sold by squads...you probably do have a reason how it could be made worse since i know you like your numbers,so i'm curious to see it lol

You know,even though in my op i rage against 5aps...i don't know if all of them did but most i bet did put rl money into them...and i feel sorta sorry for them because someday pw is going to **** that investment over with some game changes.

You're right,they don't seem to fix anything i only mentioned the rubberbanding cause that was affecting me before i went on forum,but theres so many more that have been here for years.

The last boss in 2-3, Ancient Evil, is very much doable without a 5 aps squad. In fact its very much doable with people who dont have even 1 piece of -interval gear. All you need is good coordination.

TT isn't hard... if YOUR a complete moron and YOU have a squad of morons then maybe yes.
Lets put it like this if you dont know what 1+1 = 2 then well stay out of TT it's best that you do for the sake of other players too.

I have 8.6k hp sage buffed.
DoT in every socket.
5.0 aps
10.5k Pdef
6.6k Mdef

And im able to solo TT 3-3 without a cleric and without a second player around to balance the aggro.
If a full squad of lvl 100s+ cant do so. then those players should just stick to using the CC(CreditCard).

Well they could use THE OTHER CC, namely Cannibal Corpse, which is a great live band. If they don't manage to do the TT, they still have badass sound coming out of their speakers.

I see the rage, and i completely agree.. I went to be a Sage BM and all my ingame friends who are NOW also my in real life friends because we speak toeach other for 2 years..
So ingame memebrs can acutally be your real friends, jsut saying. Next point about TT .. Its all about co-ordination.. I have done GBA when it was easy and now that he is hard. M friends and I went to kill GBA TT3-1 which supposetly even lvl 95+ fear cause he can one shot everyone, and it has happened to me before but that doesn't stop me, and honestly when I went with my friends the higest pesn in the party was a lvl 89 BARB and lowest was a lvl 82 cleric.. we had a lvl 90 to open the TT3-1 and then he left and we made our squad, we killed GBA nto once but 6 times.. and even a GBS droped..
So in short TTs' are not hard YOU JUST NEED FRIENDS and people to do it.. My faciton still yells that its hard and all the people who have gone with me have completly stoped QQing about it cause now they know. And i have never spent a single dollar in this game beside 100$ which was gifted to me by folks and i ended up spending 60$ on them and 40$ for my ride.. my current ingame spediture in 2 years is over 200billion.. .. and now i need antoher 770mil to get my BM to 5.0aps because he is sage.. instad of 400mil. if i went demon just saying

However, it gives your alts the chance to be better on lower levels... to... get higher lvl and be boreeeed again.

You don't need to put money in if you really dedicate your time to do some TT / nirvana runs. Or even better, if you really don't have the time to do it, just open a shop and do Buy/Sell either of tokens, mats, w/e.

If you do it right you will SOONER OR LATER (most likely later) get enough coins to buy your gear or even make it if you're lucky enough.

Now, as a cleric (100) and veno (75) I do enjoy my cleric since it is not that hard to find a squad for nirvana being a cleric. But hey, at what cost? its not pretty to be the only cleric with clawarchers and bms that cant handle 3 hits due to be so obsessed with pk that they lost some pieces of gear, or they completly suck (most likely the 2nd option.)

When you get to endgame, pretty much, the only reason you would get endgame (for now) gear, is to PK, if you're in HT, there's no really pk fun since its hard to reach the +12 all full geared nirvana tt 99 dudes. Yes, it takes time to get there, it is possible as well to get there without putting money in, however it does take time. And one thing I've learned in this game is that people want things and they want them on the moment.

Other reason to get endgame gear is to... uhm.. run more tt/nirvana? lol.

An ingame friend has like 5 characters on level 100, and guess what, she is still bored and thinking on quitting the game due to this. LOL.

Rubberbanding, sigh, wont even talk about it lol.

Belial is easy with an archer/sin with bow tanking. Melee also doable, but I'm not going to be the cleric in that situation.

3-1 Behe is even easier than Belial.

@OP- Stop being antisocial. This game is based around participating in squads. And unfortunately, most squads here don't know how to park people for GV so you're gonna have to - oh no! - participate in a squad to get it done.
