I need your opinion

Hey guys, I took a while off pwi and I thought of doing some maybe sigg making and stuff. So I decided to give it a go. Im not very good at it but still... Here's my first sig. (Very plain)

b:scorn its plain but it has a nice finish to it. sometimes plain and simple looks awesome it looks pretty professional. For this sig teh simple look worked i like it b:victory oh and wb xd

Yeah im still learning how to use this photo editor thingo, right now im still in the basics. But hey you learn from mistakes, and I made plenty of them making that sig xP.

My only suggestion is to cut some of the white part on the right cause I don't see the point in so much of it. Other than that... it looks like a nice sig. XD

Now I could give a little advice, but I guess it's nice to give an example too:


(this was just an easy sig I made as an example, if you like it you are free to use it ofcourse)


First off, JPEG images are a bad idea unless you know how to save them correctly (in other words, not with MSpaint). You lose a big portion of image quality by doing so. You'd be better off saving them as a .PNG

Secondly, try using the space you have a bit more efficiently. This can be done easily by placing your text right.

And finally, just black and white can work out fine in a signature, but it takes a bit more effort than that. Using colors (even a little) makes a sig much more appealing in most cases.

Im gonna fix that xD. I rushed it like 5 mintues before I had to go to school so yeah.

Im usin' GIMP, it's alright... Its the only decent one I could find that I could understand how to use xD

1. As I said, I did it in a rush before school.

2. I like it the way it is now, It represents my life, very plain and blank.

3. Im not trying to make it appealing, its not my thing (Im like emoish).

War i actually liek yours better than awns on this occasion. the Black and White to me works better in the Blocky style you used. you gonna set up a thread?
also I use gimp too i luffles it

Thanks for the comment . And I might make a thread, but I still got some things to learn and improve on before I start.

Ok so, I've shown some friends some photo's i've made/editied and they love it, so i've been making them some... But the majority of them are black and white. I got bored with that so I started using different colours. I changed the colour of my signature to red and added a quote by me. I also made a really colorful version of it, and I made it flash through loads of colours >:D.

Honestly, its very unappealing to my eyes. You had a nice idea going on... but...

It'd look better to me if there was something to fill the right side of the image. It just looks cluttered on the left. Of course, you don't have to do anything else to it if you like. Nothing wrong with a bit of constructive criticism, right?

If anything that helped me. It's telling me not all people like my style and I should start Doing some different ideasb:victory

The other one might end up giving me a seizure if I keep looking at it, even though I like it. xD

Oh well, keep practicing, I remember when I started doing sigs I didn't even know how to properly extract something from an image. That was such a long time ago... x.x

They all look good, The sigs i make usually fail, but are okay. the sig you made looks good and i like it. (The first one you made none with colors)

They're all blurred xP. I made it like that so people would have to look at it more o.o
