    It's already a joke in my faction about how much I hate the bidding hall. And I wanted nothing more than to give Duke over to those mobs/bosses at the event so they could tear him apart.

    Hell, sell us a "turn off" button in the boutique even. I would buy it.

    Signed, I understand why the system messages are there, though they should be toggled off during TW so they wont interfere with guild strategy and organization.

    I agree that alot of things need fixing, but that's not the point of this thread: system spam needs to go before I can actually enjoy the game for more than 10 minute spurts.

    System messages are alot easier to fix than alot of other issues I can think of at the moment. From a coding perspective, you literally just have to find the system message method and put a "//" in front of the appropriate line of code to make it stop displaying those messages. Would take, I don't know, maybe 10-20 minutes at the very most, including testing, out of a dev's day.

    Compromise: make the system message cut across all chats to announce that: bidding starts at such and such time, and that, bidding has started. Henceforth, all updates on bid prices should be normal chat and trade chat only.

    This would let everybody know that bidding is about to begin/has begun (as PWI wants) but also satisfy those who do not want to bid and are mainly in squad/faction chats or in pms.

    How about we just make it so the people who are participating in the bids are the ones who actually see the prices? I see no reason to flood ANY chat channel with information some people really could care less about.

    I agree. It's annoying when you are trying to do something important, and loud-mouth duke lets everyone know that someone is repeatedly spending money. We really don't need to know, and generally don't care to know. I also agree that it doesn't seem like pwe really cares what we think.

    DQ now has a point system, and TW funds have been cut down. I didn't really care about either of these, but I'm just making a point here.

    I gamble myself, and I don't even like the publicity of my gambles.

    I just wish that you can uncheck the "System" messages from the UI options. What's the point of putting it as a checkbox if you can't even uncheck it?

    I agree. They met us in the middle with a nice compromise for the DQ system. Many people approve of the improvement with DQ, and its not finished yet, frankie is taking notes on things that can be added to the point system.

    TW pay...well...thats a hit or miss. Some claim TW pay will be reversed do to an outcry, maybe they will re-vamp it with a nice compromise. Maybe coin, but at a reduced rate?

    All I know is that PWE has a tendency to compromise and work with us as long as we dont scream, bash or spam for change like little children. This is worth a shot.

    why reduce the rate? TW pay was never a real problem, and never needed fixing; changing it made no positive difference in the game and accomplished nothing good or useful.

    that said, it will not be changed back, because doing so would be PWE admitting they made a mistake and/or lied through their teeth about their reasons for making this change in the first place. neither of those admissions will ever be forthcoming.

    Half the **** duke says I don't care about. System message should not fill up chat in an instant. It was going off during an FB today and makeing things hard for me. /Signed. Seriously put duke on another channel that we can remove from squad and Faction chat.
