Hiya,

Seems to be some routing problem with the PWI servers atm is anyone else having trouble?

I was happily logged in to Heavens Tear and in SoT (at a boss) when suddenly ping time went up to 16k and eventually I d/c. Luckily I was not the only cleric in squad but I cannot log back in it just hangs and cannot get the PWI website up (pwi.perfectworld.com), it just hangs or loads terribly slowly. All other web sites and games seem fine.

Other people on WC were complaining about same thing just before I d/c.

I am in the UK but can access other UK and US web sites just fine.

I made this post by using a VPN thru my office (which is based in the US) and can use forums and PWI website like this. Sad thing is they won't let me play MMO's over the office VPN :(

Hope it gets fixed...dont wanna miss my daily MQ with my "hubby". b:cry

    Lag Lag Lag pretty bad here, UK player as well, and 4 other guild members getting same probs

    I've had this issue last night and had to wait until i log back in and then i got a lag spike again that nearly dced me during my bh.

    we were doing FF on the last pull of dragons and what was supposed to be 30secsonds to kill them turned into 5mins and don't even get me started on the last boss xd

    and yea UK here, others in my squad were having the same prob

    I'd bet 100 bucks everyone having this prob is in the UK. there's NOTHING WRONG with PW's servers... or WE ALL would be d/c'ing and w/e..... I never do and out of my entire faction only ONE person dc's alot, and guess where he lives...... the UK lol..... It's probably the servers or connections or w/e (u know like that underwater fiber optic line for one that's connecting Europe and the US/Canada and what not) that are connecting you TO PW's servers here in the US. OR your ISP... but i doubt u all have the same ISP. I'll say it again, stop blaming PWI when your f'ed up net connection to it prolly has NOTHING to do with them. These threads are gettign old.

    Lag in north eastern USA jumping 300-13k pings well outside of pwi vent is 60 ping websites load 100% fast

    Looks like your ISP (or their upstream provider) peers with Internap (PWE's ISP/Hosting site) at London INternet eXchange, and it seems to be going downhill from there. Since I've not heard of any major problems at LINX right now, the problem appears to be with whoever Internap uses for transit to the US.

    So while it is technically (probably) not a problem with the PWI servers, it actually is likely a PWE problem (or more properly, a problem that PWE can address more easily than any of us).

    yup makes sense because I know people will be like upgrade your internet however I have 30mb highspeed there's nothing wrong there its probably a node between me and pwe servers
