Helm Comparison

So, I've been looking to update my headgear.

I'm aware that most Archers use Warsoul of Earth in their later stages. But i've been considering an alternative. I wanna get some input on this though. The two helms i've been considering are Warsoul of Earth and Ancient Behemoth's Helm:

- More HP
- Higher Grade
- +1% crit add

Ancient Behemoth's Helm: http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/14996
- Less expensive
- Dex and vit adds
- Can be farmed
- Can be upgraded to Nirvana Helm <--Big deal for me.

What should I get? Input pleaseb:cute

    Ancient Behemoth's Helmet requires 21 mor str than Warsoul of Earth. Therefore, the +dex add is basically pointless.

    Also, due to the crappy starting life, Ancestral Divine Hat, even at +12, gets less +HP than Warsoul of Earth. It does have +dex and resistances, though.

    Actually, Warsoul at +12 has 2100 HP, where as Ancestral, thanks to it's grade, has 2285.

    Seems like it's quite clear which to go with, and you also seem to have your mind already set one that one anyway. So why ask?

    Warsoul of Earth has 2260 at +12. Anything below that and Warsoul of Earth is superior.

    warsoul is best helment if you cant make nirv helment.

    only after +10 nirv helment > warsoul

    tbh.. i LUV my nirv helment to death.. it's so so so so good.. so much def.. so much hp b:dirty

    How long will it take for you to save enough coins to upgrade the Ancient Behemoth's Helm to Nirvana after you get the helmet? Tomorrow? One week? A few Months? With the expansion that will be coming out soon; it is anticipated to have new gears available for players to farm along with the new instances. If it takes you maybe more than 4 months to finally get the Nirvana helmet after getting the pants, then it might be wise to just stick with the Warsoul and see what the expansion will offer. I have a haunch that maybe by Christmas, we will get more info on the release date of the expansion.

    Comparing the stats of the two helmet, both are good, but warsoul would be a better choice until you can actually upgrade the TT helm to nirvana. Warsoul Helm is of a higher grade and refines for more hp, in addition it is resell-able while the TT helm is bound after usage. Most eg archers now choose to be able to equip fists/claws so the extra str points required for the TT helm is not a problem.

    Not sure about your server, but on Sanctuary there has been lots of champion ship scrolls circulating for 15 mil on average. Summing up the cost of the Giant Beast Shells, subs and other mats that are required, the cost for both is almost the same.
