Levels required for grinding

I am a level 63 BM, and my friend is a lvl 65 wizard.
What levels do we need to aoe grind on seaweed thiefs "safely"?

I am mixed build(45 base vit, ~ 80 base dex, so far), doing axe tree
and he is a pure magic nuking wizard.

I have aura maxed, over 3.1 hp and over 9k pdef self buffed.

(P.S. aren't seaweed thieves melee only?)

They are melee only.
The only problem I see is that the wizard will take agro off you, even if you are pure axe.

You should gather with phys marrow on, attack them a few times, pull into mage AoE range and HF → Roar. Should be fine like that.


Edit: Beware the hares and the wood DoT mobs when you pull, with phys marrow on, they will hurt you. A Lot.

Find a cleric about your level and zhen them.

ive been doin them actually since about lvl 62 on my bm(lvl 66 now). ive been solo'ing them with cleric/sin buffs pulling about 12-18 of the on average. in between pulls i suggest doin ur marrows (magical first then phys to make sure u get the p.def) to get chi. but yea for ur lvl seaweed thieves are good. i do highly suggest getting cleric and sin buffs at the bare min as the cleric gives ya more p.def and sin buff....well go aoe grind with axes and watch ur hp bar. i do also suggest taking a hp and mana charm. i actually for past 2 weeks been using a plat hp/mp on mine and ive only lost about 150k but thats only due to i have bloodpaint....and the mana charm dw ull make over triple of wat it cost to get it. on average 1 hour of aoe grinding nets me about 250k-400k after repairs and such...depending how greed the mobs are....anyways sorry for the long as post XD...oh and yea if ur takin ur wizzie friend i HIGHLY suggest he takes a hp charm and u as the bm get alpha male on ur genie cause unless u can kill the mobs very fast b4 wizzie steals agro ur friend is goin to die....alot....ijs b:surrender

Grab some hypers, go to Public Quest and kill elites. This is the most effective way of leveling outside of oracles. 1 elite gives between 20-40k exp if you solo them, i wish i had known about this sooner as my 60-80 would have gone a lot faster.
Sure you don't get drops, but meh, the exp is mad Also with soloing the elites, you run a better chance of winning the event also, so you can get moar exp/sp for levelingb:victory

but why would you grind then? he didn't say that it was for the $$, so i assumed it was for the Exp.
I was just giving him another way to get good exp if this was what he was after...
