95% of the sin community will tell you Demon.
Please refer to the thread posted above, or compare the skills for yourself.

My sin is going Sage based on the skill set. Not the current APS craze. Then again, I don't ever think I'm going to finish leveling my Assassin, let alone my Psychic.

Oh god... Another one of these threads... b:shocked

Rule 1 of forums (that nobody ever seems to follow) is USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. There are plenty of sage/demon threads out there, most of which turned into flame wars. Kthxbai. (well, maybe not rule one. But still, it's a good thing to use. >.>;; )

    That said...
More or less, it depends on your playstyle, what you want from your sin, and the funds you have.
Like being able to take damage? Go sage.
Like high APS? Demon has it easier, but sage can also get up there.
Like PvPing with long stuns? Demon.
Want the better (opinion, of course) skills of the two, and HAVE THE FUNDS for them? Sage. (Had to add the funds part, because somehow people on forums seem to think that once you hit 89 and choose your culti you get all your skills to lv11 or the books magically appear in your inventory. b:surrender)

Look at the skill descriptions for demon/sage on ecatomb. I_Snipe has already provided the link. If you don't think you'll be affording many skills at all ever, maybe choose based on the spark you like best (Demon gives +25% attack speed, sage reduces damage). Again, demon/sage is up to the player.

I personally haven't decided yet. I'm becoming addicted to high APS at the moment, but I haven't made any decisions; sage bloodpaint and ribstrike appeal to me quite a bit.

    TL;DR
Look at skills, sparks, your funds, and your playstyle. Don't base your choices off of others' opinions or you may get screwed over. b:bye

demon version is less expensive .. you dont have to buy so many skills ..
but the only good thing in demon version is the spark .. and it increases 25% of ur atack speed thats very good .. yes it is
but this passive skill "dagger devotion " in demon version increases your crit rate by 2% ..
sage version increases your dagger damage up to 90% ..
and there are more benefits in sage version .. but of course you have to spend lots of money and thats the worst part xD

you can see all lvl skills effects and sage/demon version through this site

( th same site as I_snipe ) sorry xD didnt see :S
    good luck ;) b:bye
