-edit- It's late no matter how you look at it I guess0 -
Unfortunately, PWE seems to have all sorts of problems getting the time right.
The forums totally ignore Daylight Saving Time (DST), so when the servers are on DST the forums are (usually) off by one hour.
The status page and the server time on the main page show your local time, instead of Pacific Time for the "server time" and thus should be totally ignored unless you happen to live in the Pacific Time Zone. I sent in a fix to the JavaScript for this, so hopefully it will get fixed soon.
And worse yet, the servers themselves don't seem to have been updated to adjust for DST properly using the 2007 changes in how DST is calculated for the United States. Currently the servers are acting as though DST is over, even though it has another week left. b:shocked
All of this makes it a complicated mess to figure out what time the servers are set to. b:surrender
So, to figure out server time, the best thing you can do is log into the game, click the Encyclopedia icon in the upper-right corner, click Event, and then see the current server time at the top of the Event window.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
