Not really... all laptops have 'integrated' graphics card (if they aren't using intel's absolute **** poor excuse 'GMA') and most can do it very well, and you can always get a desktop motherboard with an 'ok' gpu integrated on it and be fine
Desktops are the only ones that can actually have a 'card' for a gpu
Most of the hate on integrated comes from the fact that intel just got there incredibly horrid (doesn't even deserve the name) gpu on to so many computers because it was insanely cheap and manufacturers also liked being cheap
Anyway, as long as it doesn't say Intel in the gpu name, you are fine and to answer your question yes more then likely it can as the HD4200 is relatively new0 -
if your going to be getting a comp, and if ur clueless at the same time to whats good and whats not, i HIGHLY suggest u visit forums that deal with that stuff, mainly websites dedicated to specific graphics cards, but the ppl there usualy help with comps aswell
try this for the radeon: http://forums.amd.com/game/categories.cfm?catid=260
and this for Nvidia graphics cards: http://forums.nvidia.com/
ill give u some advice for a g-card, i only realy no how good GeForce nvidia cards are, so your best bet if ur wanting to go for a cheap, yet still a good card, would be a GeForce 8600GT card, thats 40 pounds in the UK, so $64 in the US which is quite cheap.
also, u can get realy good quad core PCs for 400 pounds, which is $640 in the US, again thats cheap, try not spend realy over 500 pounds, which wud be $801, alot of ppl think that the more expensive it is = the better, which is wrong...unless ur going for some uber monster PC, then its right lol[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

edit: posted the other half of my message here, figured out that it wont let me write a pound sign, so it cuts off all the writing after the sign, that needs fixing.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
