I assume you are refering to G15 ( grade 15 ) gear which is Nirvana gear.

There are two sets you can look into for making your Nirvana gear.
TT Nirvana or Lunar Nirvana. Both of them are made from TT99 gear or Lunar Gold gear. Both of these sub sets are made from another armor set. TT99 requires you to use TT90 Green armor to make, and Lunar Gold requires you to use Lunar Green armor. It is a progression yes.

They have a slightly different stat make up.
    TT Nirvana Stage II

if you click on the complete tab to the far right it will show you each part for the Stage II armor on the TT Nirvana.

Same can be done for the Lunar Nirvana

As you can see both are pretty close to being equal but you will see less stats on the TT Nirvana set, because they add in a 4% resist to Mdef and Pdef. These add off your armor you are wearing and I believe stats ( could be wrong on the stat end ) so if you heavily go Mdef Ords you will see more from the 4% Mdef section.

Both of these linked sets are second stage armor sets, because I wanted to show it with the bonus complete. The second stage will give you no more HP, stage one is also G15. But you get the Def Lvl bonus as well as altered stats from TT and Lunar.

thanks for that aswell as far as the TT one is concerned will it come out same wether you use tt90 n make it into niniva or will it be stronger if you craft it from tt99

edit just re read your post so your saying if you craft it from tt90 you get a %4 upgrade on your resitstances from that so you would have weaker nirnva then if you upgraded it from tt99 right ?

not quiet, you missed a step. if you are making the TT version of Nirvana you must follow this

    1.TT90 Green
    2. Decone TT90 Green to make your TT99 Gold
    3. TT99 Gold bound to you, so you must have lvl 6 Taylor and it is used to make TT Nirvana Stage I with 100 Uncannies ( most parts, not all )
    http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25933
    4. TT Nirvana Stage I with 150 Uncannies will craft into TT Nirvana Stage II
    http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25705

The Helm and Cloak I believe take MORE Uncannies. More then likely because they are made from TT90 Gold parts. ( TT90 Gold Helm and Gold Cloak )

Only your Stage II parts will get the set bonus.
    2 parts - 5 Att Lvl
    5 parts - 10 Def Lvl
    6 parts - 3 Def Lvl

But regurdless if you go stage I or stage II, you must first get TT90 to make your TT99, then use your TT99 to make stage I, and use your stage I to make stage II for TT Nirvana Armor.

    for your weapon yes

UNLESS you go the Lunar route on the armor or weapon.
Lunar will not bind. So you can pass the gear to another to have it upgraded. TT will bind, so the upgraded versions will keep the bind effect on them. ( alt with these skills also work to upgrade if done thru a stash stone )

But, since most people ( ones that do not really waste a ton of coin ) will use Lunar at 95+ till they are able to make TT Nirvana weapon, then they will make the TT99 gold part needed for a fraction of what it costs for a Lunar, get their G13 and sell off the Lunar refined weapon for a decent profit.

You need to craft your own bound gear? I thought it doesn't bind until equipped.

this is correct, if you equip your tt99 gear, you wont be able to hand it to someone to make it into nirvana. if you choose NOT to wear it until its final nirvana progression, you can hand it off to upgrade it. ei, finally equipt it after its final form, at that point it would bind. Its kind of illogical to do it like that though.

Just to clarify for the OP grade 15 requires level 6 crafting and follows these routes

    TT90->TT99 (binds) -> reforge G13 Nirvana (binds) -> quenched G15 Nirvana (binds)
Lunar green-> Lunar gold "legendary" -> reforge G13 Nirvana -> quenched G15 Nirvana

You gain a grade increase when you reforge into G13 Nirvana. G15 gets a stat change.

Lunar armors tend to offer + hp instead of TT's + vit. The + hp add gives more hp than the + vit add but the + vit add affects defense. The lunar has a 33% higher base defense than the TT armor but the more pieces of TT you get the more TT catches up, although it doesn't ever really becomes as strong as lunar. However, Lunar is more affected by buffs and debuffs. If you are buffed (BM's bell, cleric buffs, base buffs) then the lunar gets more gains because it doesn't multiply the 4%. If you are debuffed the lunar loses more defense (cleric seals, veno ironwood, some boss aoe's) while the TT holds up better under debuffs. Overall, Lunar is considered better armor. For weapons, the G15 Nirvana stats are random and TT and Lunar have the same options of random adds.

Saku: The one thing to fix about your TT progression, is that if the equipment isn't worn yet then it'll be unbound.

If you have worn it, then it'll be bound.
Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~
