DoT (Damage over time) holds aggro control

Like how bramble makes mobs come after you.

Bramble hits mob back as they hit you so they don't reset aggro from not being hit in X amount of time... DoT holds as much aggro as its damage which is like 1 normal hit. FR has aggro build in, like Alpha Male, that puts the user on top of the aggro list. The bleeding might keep hitting mobs so they don't reset, but as aggro goes, it's only as good as its damage, which you over do with 2 normal hits.

If you're still a low lvl don't worry about it too much but atleast get the skill. If you like to pk a lot or getting close to end game, Max it ASAP. It's also a good skill to have max because if a wizzy or Archer takes aggro on the mob(BH squad), it won't even be able to move usually before it dies. And Like others have said, It's always nice to stop a running mob from running in bh's. Solo Pve it's also very useful on Physical mobs because you can tackling slash them & move inside them or use shadow teleport to them, they won't be able to relocate & attack you until tackling slash wears off. Another thing nice about it too is if you have hh99 daggers or hh100 daggers with +2.00 Range, Use tackling slash & step 4.5range away from the HA classes and a fist bm will have become useless for quite a few seconds unless they change to pikes/poleblades or use long range skills while you DD from a far. A barb would still be able to use far range skills that hurts, is why I didn't include them lol . Pvp wise tackling slash is also my stun replacement since I don't waste 2 spark headhunting due to my fast interval unless it's against another LA & AA or if I find myself dieing quickly lol.

to all the idiots saying TS is useless... heres a short answer

you don't know how to play a sin cuz ur a hyper/oracle noob.
as a hyper/oracle noob, you want to hyper frost alot.
you need TS in frost to hold harpies on the ground.
    max TS.

oh, and can i say glitching immobilized mobs ftw? <-if you don't know what that is, you are a hyper/oracle noob that has never actually played ur sin.

    True that.
However, I find it easier to just shoot the harpies. Just my preference.

How exactly? From what I can guess, it has low output damage as does flesh ream. The bleeding is what holds aggro.

Again I have nothing to go by since I don't know the thread holders level. I just assume a low level sin player.

See me as whatever, I am not fund of people that seem to be rude.

The skill Flesh Ream is a high aggro skill. The bleed is just a nice effect, but the aggro is from using the skill. No way are the low bleed damage ticks gana hold any amount of aggro.

    Just clearing this up

    Other high aggro skills are:
    Sage Dragons breath
Psychic skills before they fixed them(fixed now)
    Invoke the spirit, and more

The effect of the skill is not what draws aggro, its using the skill that does it.

    Hope we learned something today

I think stun(lock) has just become the generic term for true stuns, sleeps, immobilizations, and silences (seals). I know I just use the term "stun" from time to time.
