    the people in this game amaze me. atleast its not 10 atks per second like some MMOs.

    5.0 cap is perfect. it should be no less and no more then that.

    its caped at 5 aps otherwise anyone that reached -.7 interval with fists would have infinite aps

    The game itself can support 20 aps, but it is capped at 5 due to animations, if you use something like a "speed" **** it forces your computer to run that proccess faster (most 3d games have an arbitrary limiter on them to keep everything smooth) and if you run it at lets say 4x... and have someone with 5 aps... the game will crash

    The people in this world amaze me. At least they aren't starving like some children in africa. So they should quit complaining forever for anything and get nothing ever done rite?

    APS i know a sin on Harhslands that u cant even see him hit its like he dont move o.o scares the **** outta me lol but i think it should be 4.0 honestly due to sins i mean ppl dumping 1000's to get 5.0 n all g13 n +12 n **** whats the point its a game n sins they spark while they invisble pop out ooccalt ice n seal n stun they need to make pots that anyclass can go invisable n maybe ppl wont bytch n FIX THE FREAKING TT boss's in 3-1 3-2 they 1 shot all the squishys lately -_- hard tanking with charm **** but really its unfair that sins can have 5.0 and still be invisble they need to nurf the invisble skill make it to where u cant attack at all while in it -_-

    All the ones I did were and still are considered decent if not great MMOs and all of them had "skill spam" and not auto attacking for obvious reasons, low aka "normal" aps

    Western MMOs don't count. For obvious reasons. Also games with a known company or with huge budget don't count either. The original PW company was a small one although Western players have a very little amount of info available.

    I've seen games where mages can three-shot bosses and one-shot mobs and players. The build costs 1000$+ but after you have it only other mages can kill you. And that's not the worst example.

    a skill spam game just transfers from a person having high DPS to high DPH. meaning instead of xxxxx hits per second to kill u its just one big X hit to kill u... not a big difference imo. ppl will moan about that class having to high skill dmg or to much -casting or w/e

    Fights were usually lasting longer than in here and it didn't have something like a charm or it would take even more.

    They did have normal auto attacks, but they were lower DPS than skill spamming. Not saying they had only skill spamming, but it was optimal to do it.

    In this game we have -chan and -int. The problem I see with -int is how the math works behind it and it is broken. If you don't see why, picture that without a cap you could even get (theoretically) 0.0 interval between hits meaning infinite attacks per second. Which is a bad design of how things should work... at least in my opinion.


    So they got a broken system and they add a cap... and again, just my opinion but 5 aps is too much, that is why I was suggesting 3.33 or 2.86 as cap (maybe demon has 3.33 and sage 2.86). I mean, those I mentioned are great, it is not like casters would out DD you or something, you'd still be superior in DPS to them by far. But 5 is just too much at least for me.

    If they had the cap at 3.33 from the beginning I doubt anyone would complain about not having enough aps and casters being OP compared to melees either.


    I know they probably won't change 5 aps and I don't cry for nerf but just in my opinion it's a bit too much. That is all.

    I swear some people on this forum completely lack any sarcasm sense.

    Now to explain my post because trolls obviously didn't get it. Don't compare your situation to someone who has it worse, because then nothing would get done. Just because you have a better situation than X doesn't mean you should have no complaints at all... if we did that, again referring to the "starving children", NOTHING would get done in a first-world country.

    We have our problems, they (the other MMOs) have theirs. Let's focus on OURS.

    in older versions of the game(better versions): warriors could only reach 2.5 base, 3.33 with dark cyclone/fury. the only way anyone could reach 5/s is if they were a rank 8 archer, or in this server, assassin. that worked, because archers hit really low with fist and have 0 ability to make you stand still and tank their 5/s fury.

    -interval cloak, pants, and heaven book broke pvp.

    unfortunately, what's done is done and they can't just.. get rid of it. people spent a lot of real money to have those items. I'd hate to see them try to make int classes stronger to compensate for their stupid move.. it'll go 1 of 3 ways:

    fail, not balancing it at all,
    massive overpowering damage/chan/cast/weapon increase, or:
    messing it up because none of our admins know how int classes work anyway

    ..

    idea!

    remove the nirvana pants, the heaven books, and the cloaks. replace their id's with something of equal value(monthly race cloak is the next best, imo). turn the heaven books back into the .. pack thing they came from.

    as for the pants.. just edit the nirvana gear not to have interval. make the old, broken pants an ensigerka to turn into another pair of nirvana pants, with the same refine/stone. put crit in its place, for all I care. crit isn't as broken as 5/s.


    maybe if these newgen wrs used a normal speed, they'll actually learn to play. the rejects in the wr section disgust me.

    capped cuz at -.7 is infinite and they have animation limits, if it went over 5, your game would lagg hella.

    no, every game that has melee class where you are able to increase the speed at which you atk has an aps system and its always caped. this game is just shown in intervals and caped it at 5. other game may show it as a % in atk speed and the more % the more aps you have. 50% atk speed---100% atk speed might increase the atks per second from 3 to 8.

    intervals is just one way of showing APS. there is nothing flawed with the system. the only diffrence is this game shows it as intervals.

    there is a game called starcraft 2 that is far from being a MMO but has atk speeds. they also show there atk speeds as raw intervals. its just a matter of knowing when to cap it.

    the main thing that makes 5 aps so powerful is NOT the pure fact that its 5 atks per seconds, its the fact that you can get +12 gear and increase your atk lvl a **** ton that makes 5 atks per second so powerful. this is exactly why daggers/claws/fist have such a low physical atk rate compared to other melee weapons.

    thats how these classes are suppose to work in any MMO you see them in. hit low but atk fast as hell.
