Dyes applied to armor

so im back again. small idea, open to replies, is it possible to integrate a new system where dyes can be applied to armor? i wont add if they can be to weapons, as sum weapons (and even sum armors, i'll admit) look too good to change their color. just throwin sumthin else out there. cheers! and if they can, can the number of dyes necessary kinda be kept along the same lines as clothes, like 1-5 for boots and gloves, and/or 5 thru whatever for the main armor. and yes to the ppl who will read this, dyes of nearly any color can be hard to get, but this is only an idea. pick it apart if u want. cheers!
