No Upgrade of Tideborn Wings

When did the PWE team decide that tideborn wings would be unable to be upgradeable indefinite? Also, why has that made them more expensive at least on the sanctuary server.

    On Lost City they are cheaper then other classes equiv speed aerogear for the most part...

    Spectral Haze was on sale for 15 gold several weeks ago. That's when I bought them for my sin for like 6m coin. That's the first time PWI has ever sold max speed wings, let alone 3.2/6.2 wings for under 30 gold. Too bad you missed that.

    umm on sanc you can get the 3.2 (spectral Haze) wings for 7 or 8mil with gold at 400k. That's not expensive. I haven't seen them for sale since gold dropped into the 350's but if you do the math, at 400k they would be12mil direct exchange, yet are selling for 4mil less.

    It would cost more to upgrade the other wings.

    BTW, search function rocks, it has been previously stated that this is something that simply has not been implemented yet, but will be in the future.

    Yep, it's cheaper to buy new wings and sell your old ones than it is to buy 80, 160 or more wind widgets.

    Regular search pretty much sucks. Advanced Search is decent. This site is google searchable, so just use "perfect world ________ ________" for your search terms, and it should work for you as well.

    Advanced Search is best if you're looking for a specific quote from you or someone else and remember a few of the words said, google is best used if you are looking for the answer to a question.

    I guess search just never works for me, all I get are people hoping they release the upgrades. No hard evidence from a mod stating that it will be implamented, MAYBE.

    I personally would love being able to upgrade TB wings, even if they are more expensive than the "normal" flyers that go at that speed to start. There are some TB wings that I really like the look of (Dreamchaser, in particular, and also Shadowbreeze) that I would definitely be willing to upgrade. It seems silly not to offer players that option.

    I think that upgrading the Spectral Haze wings would probably be a stretch, as they already go the same speed as some of the older pack aerogears (for instance, the Galactic Beetle), and those are unable to be upgraded as well. This would mean that PWE would have to have all 3 of the other races' aerogears edited to allow upgrading, which would then make the current pack aerogears obsolete without widget upgrades. Just thought I would throw my two cents out there, take it or leave it.

    But what about aerogears of tideborn that are +2.5m/s and less? I don't think anyone was talking about the aerogears that are already 3.0 or more.

    Sorry, lol...misread an earlier post, and thought they were talking about upgrading Spectral Haze...my bad!! b:shutup

    The other wings should definitely get an upgrade, and who knows, it might even be in this "huge content update" they've been working on for a few weeks now...
