    I've done 500+ 3-3 runs. I've never seen it drop. Out of all those runs, I've seen a red mat drop once. Good Luck.

    Yeah, it's the last mat I need to be able to get TT100 made.
    And yes people have actually gotten it as a drop. Only seen 1-2 though, and i've heard of about 4-5 total.

    But 2x drop means that the chance doubles, so it would only take half as many runs (or half the normal amount of luck) for it to drop.

    Just wish I had a fac that would let me run with them and if it did drop they would allow me to have it so I could make the fist :s

    This is, technically and mathematically, incorrect. The chance itself does not double in 2x drops.

    2x drops works as follows (simplified for better understanding):

    Let's say that the server rolls a die when you kill a boss in TT. The number it lands on is the number of drops you're going to get (green, gold and red.) Say it rolls, I don't know, four.
    That's four items. Let's say the server then rolls a die with, IDK, twelve sides for each item. One side of that die is the "red mat", three sides "gold mat" and the other eight sides "green mat" (green, gold or red.)

    That's what it does normally. Rolls a die for the number of items, then rolls a die for each item you get to decide what that item is.

    Rolling the die twice instead of once. So you have 2 chances at original drop rate, rather than 1.

    As Alphae said, the point is that you have a higher chance of getting more drops than normal. Which is exactly what 2x drops is: the chance to get a larger number of drops.

    I have to agree that 2x drops sounds misleading, because the fact of the matter is:

    - it's a potential increase for the number of drops, not the chances of what those drops are
    - there's also every possibility you don't get 'double' the number of drops. Keeping with the metaphor, the first die could roll a 2 and the second could roll a 1, meaning you only get three mats.

    It's not likely but it's plausible and it leads a lot of people to complain about the number of drops during 2x drops every now and then. But, that's what 2x drops is and has always been. The potential change to double the number of drops you will get, and certainly a great chance of increasing the number you get compared to the average you'd normally see.

    There has not been any content update/change since Aug. 11 on the Chinese servers, so don't expect anything here either. But rumor has it that they are working on another expansion to be released before the end of the year, with new race, new classes, new fbs, 10-men squad, changes to tw, etc. Old rumors, nothing new. Good thing there are only two months left in the year b:chuckle
