    lol thats what i do =p, i cant stand soften for long but i had a friend who could.... i dont see how i could get used to it if i turned it on XD

    i tried turning it off just now... agh! jaggies! aliasing! must be on.

    I play max graphics + soften everywhere except Arch (mostly West and Central). I like the smoothness it gives the whole look, and in the server day, it just is beautiful...er...*thinks of manly way to say it*...eh, whatever, lol!

    i can't stand it since they broke the graphics.

    you can no longer use Supersampling Transparency Antialiasing because it makes the text go blury now, where as before it used to work.

    and i play with soften on

    Soften looks nice but it gets too dreamy and blurry so I have to play with it off.

    No soften unless I'm planning on taking a nice screenshot. I don't like playing something that looks that dreamy and shiny xD

    I keep it on, but only with Sharpen on aswell.

    Soften by itself looks too blurry, with sharpen ticked too, it looks just right :)

    Everything (except, as usual Gamma) on max. Soften/Blurr/whatever off. I have Sharpen on, for some reason.

    More concerned about the "Refraction" setting, as I have no idea what it is, or which variant gives better results...

    I only use soften when I want to take artistic screenshots because it's easier to add effects/edit them with it...otherwise no..The dreamy effect is nice but I prefer it to look more realistic ^^

    I ussaly have both soften and sharpen on, unless I'm laggy in which case I just use lowest settings, with only distance of players visible maxed
    otherwise its always maxed with both soften and sharpen on
    Without sharpen the game looks a tad to dreamy for my likes
    And with only sharpen on the game looks kinda dull to me

    I play with max details, shadow, v-syns and soften OFF.
    water low, cos well the amount fps is reduced even not being near water.. it's just too much. dunno why the hell pw seems to render water even tho ur not near it.

    i could choose to ignore the fps drop. but i rather keep it 30-40ish than 15-20ish. could put resoulution down, but i like it at 1920*1080.

    soften tbh i dunno i used to play with it, not knowing wtf it did, until saw a ss on forum( early days) without soften on. then been playing with soften off since then. it just looks weird.

    I think Sharpen had only to do with the scenry in the background, whereas Soften effects the whole screen in the foreground and background. Refraction refers to the water, whether you'll see the light reflected off of it giving it a bluish look, or you see right through it to see the things in the water more clearly.

    I play with Soften off after having played with it on for a good amount of time, now its only on during screenshots.

    No idea...I think I play with it on :/

    But I usually mess with my gamma setting so it's lower and the screen is darker so i don't see it much.

    lol i've changed my mind, soften removes the jagged edges (form of AA) and im actually used to it now XD
